I mean, have you ever met a Thai woman? I have no trouble believing that she likes going out alone and having fun. But a Thai woman telling her husband, "Go have sex with another woman" is another story. Granted, most Thai men DO have sex with other women but not with their wives encouragement. It's an entertaining story. Suspend your disbelief and enjoy it but take it with a grain of salt. Don't speculate how he avoided border patrol in his human trafficking and the monetary controls for money laundering because that part may not have happened.

Hi Dan, Great Story I’ve been going to Thailand since 1978 at the young age of 22 first night out in Pat Pong Bangkok as a fairly convenient guy it’s was a real eye opener even for me growing up in conservative Catholic Ireland in the 70s I use to say ( if only my Ma could see me now she be throwing Holy Water on me HAHa ) It was amazing experience and I’ve be going back to Thailand ever since and still love it. Quite the crazy escapade. This is the first video of yours I've watched. I related to it because I too have been married to a Thai lady for 18 years. We do not have an exactly open relationship but give each other a lot of freedom. The driving factor is that concept of "face," one does not want to have their partner's infidelity rubbed in the face or known within their social circles. Your story really wasn't about the 18-year relationship but rather this guy's infatuation with a pretty massage girl, whose long came was most likely divorce his wife and marry her. Good luck to him, hopefully I never find myself in his circumstances.

One minute you're ogling a photo of some Bangkok massage girl on a website, next thing you know you're driving 10 hours across Europe, laundering money for her, organising visas and transporting her across international borders to other men (people smuggling). Overall, sounds like he had fun and it was a bit of an adventure for him, but he was playing with fire (and he knew it) and it could have ended up SO much worse, especially if the immigration, financial intelligence units and tax office flagged him for closer scrutiny, or if she started tapping him for big money (he would have paid it because he was totally 'enchanted'). In terms of what her game was; I'm a little confused to be honest. When she was still in Bangkok, I'm not quite sure. However, once she got a taste of that brothel money in Germany, finding a way to get a long term visa to keep that river of gold flowing would have become her main priority. But if I take the story at face value, it sounds like she had a genuine soft-spot for him from the beginning and they've now got a good platonic relationship (evidenced by her coming to help him when he was sick). But don't try this at home kids! You saw how quickly he sunk into the quicksand. Just lucky for him she didn't move in for the kill.

I think she fell in love with his heart and kindness and caring for her but...she knew he was not the man for her future. I think she felt like she could use him for her assistance to better her life and in return make him feel good and loved in return. I would be curious to know the age difference between the 2 men. I think in her eyes...it was ..."AN UNSPOKEN AGREEMENT." She knew from the beginning he was not the man for her but knew he was a very trusting and kind man. She knew he was married and agreed to this escapade. He used her for what he needed and she did the same in return. Whether you agree with it or not...they were kind and loving to each other. I don't think they used each other in this situation...they helped each other for a period and she is much younger and it was time for her to move on. His wife didn't seem to care. She probably used him more than the other girl. I think this was a circumstance of caring and love for each other in another degree. He wanted it to continue and she knew it would one day come to an end. I think she tried her best not to use you or take advantage of you but as a way to help each other in their different journey's. I don't think she wanted to live with the guilt the rest of her life for scamming him and she tried her best to make the best of their different situations in life. Very entertaining talk …. The girl is just that a girl……with all the whims and childishness that goes with it. If there’s money they are drawn to you and they like sex. Dan, I didn't see your comment about what you think her game was. Here is my interpretation. Assuming she was indeed young and 18, it's possible she had some kind of genuine connection/feeling for this man. However, given that she's a bar/girl, any emotional capacity she had, would have been eroded away. This guy didn't take her away at 18, for her never to smash other dudes again. He became a "useful idiot" for any scheme she may have had down the line. At 18, she wouldn't have had the mental capacity to plot any kind of long game/long con. She was simply driven by impulse and her emotions in the present moment. However, she still saw this dude as an asset. Look, he did end up helping her people launder money and even cuck himself by taking the new bf and her to dinner. I'm guessing he paid for the outing. For her, it's not about a con for con's sake, but nice to have a simp hanging around in case she does need him. Those are my two cents.

Reminds me of the story of Pat a Simple minded boy from New Rochelle, NY. He went off to China to meet a lady and the family took good care of him and his family in America had to give him money to go. Long story short she dropped him when she realized he was a dolt.

I spent spent 8 years in Thailand. It is not uncommon for a Thai lady to let her husband have a Mia Noi. The only stipulation is that he is discrete and that to everyone else the marriage must look to be normal. The Thai wife must at no point loose face.
