Married to Comics Trailer

Wife of cartoonist legend Mark Bode told me about this trailer being shown at the San Diego Comic Con. I met Justin in 1976 while working for comic publisher Last Gasp and in 1977 Justin encouraged me to move into a fantastic top floor flat with a view that he was vacating. Occasionally I would stop by his studio for a chat and stayed in touch after he left SF. One year he offered to send art to anyone who donated $100 to S Clay Wilson’s trust fund, which I did. He sent a print “save the bees” and the original art for Last Gasp letterhead with a personal note, all of which I treasure. I especially loved his Musical Histories drawn for and published in Pulse Magazine, distributed for free at Tower Records. RIP Binky Brown.
