Christina and David grew up with ED basically for many years on that set so he was like a second father figure to them. I have never heard of any issues with ED on the set except with Amanda Bearse they had a rough working relationship.

I can see that a common theme in this show was that Al was sick of being poor and unsuccessful and he would think of a plan to make it big. He would get his hopes up. Then it would all come crashing down on him in the end, leaving him demoralized. While the audience got a big laugh. I didn't get it as a kid. Now I get it as an adult.

Someone has already came up with a product - small LED lights attached to the shoes via the shoe laces. They use wide angle lenses to light up the whole area (horizontally & vertically) directly in front of you. Of course, without the flashlight, both hands are free to do whatever.

It works even better if you strap a small light to your head instead of your shoes. Lights up a larger area and even aims it directly what you're looking at. Mechanics and technicians have been using them for decades. It's real handy in places like mines and tunnels, too.

This is child abuse, plain and simple . But when LED technology appeared, shoes with flashing lights appeared too . I even saw dog collars with red lights . Kids love them, flashing red and green lights on your sneakers + it is safe . In dark autumn and winter nights they are very visible for drivers and probably save lives .
