Great review. Nice to see your perspective on Marriott Harbour Lake. I can see how it would be great for your family and kids. Harbour Lake is made for kids. We actually really like the units there but just not fond of the pools. Sad that you have to get up so early just to get a lounger by the pool. You had commented on one of my other videos about chatting some time or a collab. I had replied but you may not have seen it. If you are still interested, let me know.

Hey Jeremy! Thanks for checking out the video. The Harbour Lake was great! But similar to your point if you don’t have kids much of the pool real-estate is taken up by kids attractions. And yes, we found that people claimed pool chairs early. But I’ll give people credit, most hung around or stayed nearby after claiming space. Yes I’m still interested. @@fitnessnbeer9835 Hotel Larry, it’s an amazing place, they have a pool with water slide and waterfall, they recently renovated and added the Lanui tower to the property, plenty of restaurants on the property and only 30 minutes to Naples. It’s really one of our favorite places, been there at least 7 times. Plus they have a large adult/kid pool, also steps away from the beach.

We wanted to stay here this fall, but the entire Florida falls pool area will be closed. Our kids are 6 and 8. Would you still stay here with that Florida falls area closed (splash pad and everything).. even though main pool is open?? Or should we go to mariott cypress harbor ?

Bum deal with the pool closings! 8 & 6 are perfect ages for the Harbour Lake. I would recommend this place first without hesitation if the Falls pool wasn’t closed. 🤦🏽‍♂️ We spent most of our time at the Pirate cove pool but I still think the Falls pool being closed would be a bit of a dealbreaker, especially if it’s closed during your entire visit. If it was only for a day or two of a 6 or 7 day visit it might be okay. There’s only 2 pools and poolside real estate is already challenging. I really like the Cypress Harbour and there’s lots to do but no water slides ( still worth visiting). With a 6 & 8 year old a water slide goes a long way. You may want to look at the Lakeshore Reserve and the 2 Sheraton Vistanas. We also enjoyed the waterpark at the Wyndham Reunion but it’s a really big property that’s not walkable. Thank you so much- this is incredibly helpful!! Between mariott cypress and Sheraton vistana resort, which did you like better? I would assume the mariott is nicer (it is double the price). We will be doing several non-Disney days… so I would like to be able to enjoy the resort and pools. We go in September so I know it will still be hot.. pools will be very important!!

@@hallieelliott6681 This may seem like a weird answer; I like the Marriott Cypress Harbour better but I think I would recommend the Sheraton Vistana Resort fist and choose it for our family now based on our kids ages. I think the pools, arcade, and mini golf add up to a little bit more for kids that age (ours are 5 & 8). Truly either property will serve you great and you guys will have fun. (Also note the Vistana Villages has a waterslide and pirate pool set up similar to Harbor lake. The family pool at Vistana Villages also has dining and drinks whereas the family pool at Vistana Resort does not.). Also if Cypress Harbour is twice the price it’s an easy decision. It’s definitely not twice as nice. The villas are definitely not any better.

@@hallieelliott6681 Super tough question. I love the Cypress Harbour it’s a beautiful property and they have a good activities list and nice pools. But right now I think I would choose the Sheraton Vistana Villages for my family with our kids current ages. Again for us the waterslide goes a long way for keeping our kids busy at the pool and the fact that there isn’t a waterslide at the Cypress Harbour is the difference. The Cypress Harbour does have… Boats rentals (inexpensive) Arcade Splash Pad Flower garden Walking trail Surrey Bikes But truthfully we get more mileage out of the waterslide and pool play area than the above activities. At the Vistana Villages you’ll get Waterslide Pool pirate play area Basketball courts And at the Vistana Resort you’ll get… Waterslide Splash pad Arcade Basketball Mini golf Surrey Bikes Activity Center It’s also worth mentioning that the Cypress Harbour really only has 1 dining option on property. They have a decent market but at the Vistanas you’d gain a bed and more dining options. I think it really comes down to how your family likes to spend time? Knowing the pools are important If I were choosing I would go Vistana Resort Vistana Villages Cypress Harbour I simply think there’s the most to do on property at the Vistana resort (please note I would choose the Harbour Lake over all of these😕). Another important note. All of these properties are on the Marriott Bonvoy app and usually have cancellation dates way off into the future. I think it’s helpful to book for my dates but keep watching the prices occasionally until my cancellation date. The prices often fluctuate as does availability. I’ve covered all of the properties we talked about on video and did a comparison of the Vistanas. I think they may be helpful. Sorry about the long response but I wanted to cover all bases. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤣 I’m obviously happy to answer questions. Love this resort stuff so happy to share anything I’ve learned. And really hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch for checking out the video and asking. I think the Marriott Harbour Lake would still be a great choice at 9 and 14. I also think the Sheraton Vistana Resort would work well. They’d be my first 2 choices because they each have lots of activities. Also look at HGV Parc Soleil, the Grande Vista, and Cypress Harbour. Honestly all of these properties are great and would make for a good trip. Most of resorts have heated pools but think it helps to have good weather where the pools are still accessible and that’s definitely possible in December. Hope this helps!!!
