Thank you for this perspective! I have a yod with a Leo Mars apex in the 11th house, quincunx Neptune in Capricorn in the 4th and Saturn in Pisces in the 6th. I have always believe that I was meant to be someone who can passionately and lovingly lead the collective in some way, but have been trying to figure out how. The part of your video about focusing on the opposite house really made it click for me. In the past, I have been too focused on wanting to be the light and the strength for others, and have sacrificed my own desires, boundaries, and wellbeing to this end. I have also been afraid to assert myself or follow my passions because I felt it would go against my sense of responsibility to my family and others, so the Mars expression was pretty much immobilized. But lately, I've been focusing more on what brings me joy (5th house) and pursuing things in that area, finally putting myself first and asserting my boundaries where I never did before because I was afraid it would hurt others to do so. But now that I'm focusing on myself first, this is ultimately making me more individualized, with a stronger sense of who I am and what I stand for, and therefore more influential because I am more passionate when I know myself better. This is, in turn, naturally putting me in positions where I am connecting with like-minded people in a space where I am able to utilize my talents and share my wisdom to lead and guide them (Leo 11th house). So it's cool that the answer to overextending myself because I wanted desperately to be there for others, is that I just needed to fill my own cup first, which made me better able to be there for others more effortlessly.

My yod also has a Mars apex, bases are Saturn in the 8th and north node in the 10th. My Venus is less than 1 degree away too almost on my Mars. I agree with you about physical activity! It helps me process.

I also have a mars yod! So far i couldn't recognize anything, but i LOVE watching ur videos! My yod is Jupiter, Pluto, and Mars, and my mars is in either 4th or 5th house. I also got another yod, it's mars moon and Jupiter in Apex. In 8th house. I LOVE astrology, and ur my favorite so far!!❤

I have mars at my apex of one of my yods and I have never met anyone who matches my will. I can out endure anyone. My Mars is in Libra in the 5th house.

Hi Tory, I can't agree more with you, only who has a yod understands what a yod is. I'm going through once of those crises (I'm 54) when Mars and the north node touched the Vertex of my yod (in Mars, Aries, house 3, like you??). Since I'm a teacher, I'm reconsidering the way I want to do this job, where, with whom… and, definitely, the house in front of the 3rd, where I have Jupiter, has always helped me get over these 'crisis' by opening my mind to wider ideas, options and, also, to travelling.
