To make the setup a little easier and quicker - I have marked all the poles (Roof, walls and Rawwcon) so that there is only one adjustment. Also put the pegs and ropes in place before setting up the Awning - easily cut setup time in half.

Hi mate, great to see a real setup and a couple tritons out and about. Where you get that pole thing from? Cheers Mike

Hey Mike, love the Triton. You can order the pole modification from Rawwcon.com.au. They have different setups to suit different awning setups. Easy to fit as well. Cheers Paul

Any fold down video

Nice one. Just got a spirit 2 pac, very useful to help setup! Do you have one on putting away. Just curious if you put down the rear part of the tent first before folding the front over? Thanks!

Hi, I drop rear then front then middle poles. I’ve found not every camper is not the same so take your time and try different pack up. Ive had a few requests of a packed down video so definitely on the way. Cheers

Will the annex roof fold back into the camper still zipped up? I used to do this with my soft floor and it saved time Zipping and unzipping. Great visa thanks for putting it together, very useful.

Hi Jason, yes I usually pack up with the annex roof attached to the camper, but when everything is wet I have to take the annex roof off as it folds into the camper itself and will wet the lounge area. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m planning on doing more about the camper. Cheers Paul

@@openbarcampingadventure8889 Yes, that's always a worry, packing up wet. But still, I like the idea of a camper compared to a caravan, so it's something we have to live with. Great to hear some positive feedback! Thanks for your prompt reply.

how long have you had the camper mate? any issues at all?
@openbarcampingadventure88893 жыл бұрын
68cristian I’ve had since 2018. Brought brand new. I’ve had an issue with the water pump and replaced it plus the water connections went on it so had to replace that as well. I’ve herd of different problems but all in all it’s a great camper for the price. The more you use it the better you’ll understand what you need. There’s a mars enthusiast Facebook page with heaps of great info about problems and how to solve them. Hope this helps cheers

A few mods I added was a Raaw pole system which making setup so much easier and I replace the poly block hitch with a McHitch that makes life easier.

How do you adjust the tropical roof .?
@openbarcampingadventure8889 Жыл бұрын
Hi Grant. The tropical roof usually adjust itself when you fully tension the poles inside but they do have tabs to tighten or loosen on each corner and in the centre both sides. Unfortunately on my camper, the tropical roof is too long. I undo the front tabs and put on a adjustable straps and tie it off to the draw bar. Hope this helps. Cheers Paul

How do you stop the morning heat? And flip side, with no fly, is it cold in winter Cheers, Robertt?
@openbarcampingadventure88892 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert, yes it does get hot during the summer months but when the windows are open there is enough ventilation to cool it down a bit, plus the tropical roof helps a lot as well. During the winter months it’s pretty warm. In side there is a canvas zip up wall dividing the bed and the lounge areas. When this is zipped up at night your body heat keeps the bed area fairly warm, even in cold windy night. I also use a small gas heater to warm the camper up before bed. Hope this helps. Cheers Paul.
