I picked a used model up last week. The guy did one grow and realized he wasn't interested. He gave me the receipt where he had bought it in August 2022, I paid $550 CDN or a bit over $400 USD, I absolutely love it. I anticipate it will vastly improve bud density over my current system.

what should I use for seedlings distance and power wise? I would like the light high enough so I can actually get into the tent and work

I don’t use this for seedlings. I use a 24 watt T5 over a seedling tray. But once they are big enough I start at 20% and about 3 and half feet away. And flower 75% at around 20 inches

I'm using the FC-8000 in a 5x5 and I started at 20% in veg and gradually ramped it up to 50% towards the end of veg. Currently in week 2 of flower and it's at 60% and 24" above canopy. About to turn it up to 80% in the next week or two. I'll see if I can finish my grow at 100% but that may be too much without using co2. I have a Gorilla with a 1 foot extension so I should be able to maintain 24" distance throughout.

Thank YOU! I've been searching for someone to say what is the % should I flower at on this light! Every video I click on tells me all of these numbers that I don't understand! I have brain trauma and due to my brain trauma I'm not the brightest person out there. All I needed is for someone to tell me what my settings should be on flowering! I said screw it and I have mine set at 80% with the height at 23". Hope that's ok. I'm growing in a 5x5 tent. I went on Ebay and won the auction for $504.00! Needless to say, I'm very happy!

Why did you not test it in a 5x5 tent then if you think that’s what it should be used in?

because if you put this in a 5x5 it will still blast your center and your par around the edges will be crap.

Commercial means 4x4 coverage meaning only the top sites in the 4x4 area will be intaking more co2 and photosynthesizing at a higher rate

Now how hot does this one get I see it's like on the walls once I start up a inline fan the walls will touch the light is it hot enough to start a fire at 100 percent with it touching the walls

After setting it to 50% so you dont' vaporize your plants you would have an excellent spread to every nook and cranny.

Eric I bought 2 of these from you on Black Friday . With these ppfd readings at 100% on the dimmer , if I do 50% on my dimmer would it be half the ppf your chart shows ?

Are those the light hangers that come with it? Every other review I’ve seen shows some metal hangers. Also, you said if you disconnect a light bar, the power from that bar goes to other bars? If you disconnect 4 bars, the remaining 4 bars will have 200 watts each?

I bought the SE7000 because of how sloppy those wires are. I like my setup to look clean. And, I can't believe the power supply won't lock on the light. That's not good

Their customer service is crap, my dimmer went out 2 months ago and i cant get them to warranty it. Save your money medic grow is a better option.

I'm surprised they're still in business, thier previous LED's were really low quality...but affordable. I hope they're making worthwhile lights now so noobs on a budget don't get discouraged anymore.

Mars-Hydro is ridiculous. I found these lights cheaper than list on the web, emailed Mars-Hydro for a price match and now they’re having their affiliate increase prices on me! Also, you can’t register a shipping different from a billing address on their website, they demand a bank transfer. Forget about a credit card. These people are not good to do business with, just saying.

These people send used goods, faded stickers, bent cases with traces of corrosion. Never buy anything from them.
