my friends mom has mars in cancer & my cousin has this placement too. i've witnessed how intense & antagonistic the relationship between mother and daughter can be with this placement. i was also sooooo confused on why they always seemed to go off on one another but once i looked at their charts it all made sense. i also see how hard it is for my cousin to form bonds with other women & how it plays a role in the the type of women she dates. she's only rlly close with her sisters & some of her girl cousins, almost like a surrogate mother to us.

I sort of learned how to swallow my anger with this placement. Nowadays, I typically try my best to turn that anger back inside my chest to not allow the "eruption" to escape the volcano. I figure I could use that energy towards something productive like exercise. So I guess the "bad thing" with Mars in Cancer is the tendency to hold grudges and not let it go. But in my romantic relationship, we usually resolve conflict within hours or the same day because of our harmonious communication and water Mars + Fire Mercury combo. Luckily, I have a positively-aspected Mars so I have patience and resilience. I think Mars in Cancer gets so much unnecessary hate. In my case, I like to take risks and stand up for myself and other people. As a child, I was not in control of my hard emotions, but as I got older my Saturn worked with me and I'm now able to maintain a calm and composed state when dealing with people of authority. It's true that us Cancer Mars people need a physical outlet or way to discharge all that buildup of emotion. I guess that's why I like to "rant" and talk things out as opposed to being passive-aggressive like Mars in Libra. The Chris Brown example is just an extreme manifestation of this energy... but I'm willing to guess he has some hard aspects and lessons he must learn in this lifetime. Oh if you get Mars in Cancer angry just know that it is very personal to them to have their character "attacked". I will admit that we can be very dramatic to try and get our point of view across... but it's all fine if you know how to make Mars in Cancer feel understood, loved, appreciated. Honestly, can we just normalize crying? Hell it's a normal thing for humans to produce water from their eyes and not have to deal with the strain of holding it in just because it's not accepted in society. The key idea here is that we understand (maybe a little too much) about the heart, feeling, emotions. If you wrong a Mars in Cancer, don't expect them to feel "in the mood" for things lol. Not an easy placement but I'm just glad I'm able to make some noise and not runaway. I have to say this as well - I don't typically cry at a sad movie or funerals. But I will cry if I feel like my chances of success are threatened - whether in a social environment or if it has something to do with a job. I will probably cry if I perform poorly on an exam if the stakes are high and I have my whole future riding on my grades and how well I do in school. The enduring thing about Mars in Cancer is we will want to FIGHT for what we want and nobody can take that away from us. But then again, a positively aspected Mars like mine allows me to overcome the shortcomings associated with this Mars placement.

I get a touch of anxiety any time someone knocks at my door. Inside I’m feeling how dare you knock & disturb my inner peace, or who could it be? If it’s someone your not expecting then it’s someone who potentially is going to bother you. In recent years I now don’t answer my door. My partner understands that I need an exact time to know when relatives are going to come over. To early or too late & I’m completely thrown outer zinc, especially if I’m cooking a meal for everyone. Robin Williams has this combo & so does John Mcafee - Mcafee the creator of antivirus software /computer security. So life themes surrounding protecting our personal security. I come from a home where we had an open house & it was over whelming with a lack of privacy. We had debt collectors always knocking & me being the one to always end up answering the blimming door to them. The being in the mood in order to do anything is a major struggle. But at least when we are in the mood it’s done with pure passion - I believe you said. And in that moment you created this content that passion is shining through. The information was ready to be shared. 8th house of intimacy/sharing, we literally share our moods too. The good the bad & the damn right ugly

Without know what else is in the chart, I’d say a Mars in Cap and a Mars in Cancer would balance each other out quite well. Mars in Cap knows how to get shit done and Mars in Cancer understands desire and passion for projects. I think they complement.
