You’re completely spot on. I dropped out of college after starting an on campus hair braiding business. It was wildly successful and I didn’t realize just how successful it was. I was just working and working. But in doing that I stopped taking care of myself. That’s why I dropped out. I went ghost for a year then I came back and now I’m back and I’m about to visit my college and old friends and with an almost completed degree in technology. Idk why I’m like this. But you’re spot on about everything.

Very interesting my capricorn placements elude me, (mars, neptune and midheaven) especially as I've never had a career, mostly work contract odd jobs people feel I can fulfill (even if I feel unqualified). I definitely feel that need to have something to be proud of. Even just my friends I love, I feel I have nothing to offer if I dont have some achievement to lighten the mood, as i dont like spreading my misery (hermiting time) so unless I've started something new or got a load of projects done i dont reach out, but am more than happy when people reach out to me in those down times. As for exes i always had them in my life as friends until one got divorced and tried to coerce me to divorce, now i dont talk to any as my perspective on Male friendship has drastically changed since getting married.

Mars in cancer in the 10th house (with sun and venus in the same house) conjunct venus/midheaven. I'm indeed competitive with myself, quite harsh if I don't get it right or if my action doesn't give the result I want. I want to climb the ladder of success but, at the same time, I lack that earthy practicality and I'm very affected emotionally by pretty much everything around me. I just can't motivate myself if I don't like what I'm doing, and there's this mars in the 10th telling me he doesn't care if I like it or not, I must do it. Thanks!!

Do you actually do it with the lack of the motivation??? Is Mars in tenth strong enough to override the lack of motivation of cancer mars???

@@dejandejan2925 not really. It's a highly conflicting energy, cancer and capricorn are opposite signs, after all. In my opinion, no planetary placement in the houses can be stronger than a planetary position in the signs. I have 3 planets in the 10th house (2 of them conjunct each other and my MC) plus some asteroids that also conjunct my MC and venus. I do relate to a lot of capricorn's characteristics and quite strongly, but my mars only has 4 aspects in my chart (3 of them are over 7°, and the tightest one is a quintile to my badly afflicted saturn). I also have my moon and ascendant in libra (not very self-motivated, as well). So, my mars in cancer is kinda helpless. It's unevolved. Moreover, my chart is full of squares, semi-squares, sesquiquadrates, oppositions and quincunxes, which drain me a lot and I can't do a lot with my mars. Add a trine to my chiron in scorpio, my mars is very weak and defensive. Had all these been absent and my mars gas better aspects, I'd still say that mars in the 10th can't override mars in cancer, but it'd be much closer. Mars in cancer is motivated by emotion. So, if you can find something that you're truly passionate about, mats in cancer will work a lot for it with his tenacity. Add the ambition of the 10th house. It can do well, but there will be some internal conflict. A lot of the most successful athletes have mars in cancer (Michael Phelps, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas and so many more). Im very sorry for the huge reply, but I felt I had to say all these things.
