Nice work, thanks for sharing. I shall keep an eye out for that truck, just building a couple of 1:72 Sci-Fi toy sets for local youngsters as the Dark Dream Studio Space Battles Sets have reappeared (I made one a few years ago, that went down well and got asked for more but had to wait for the sets to reappear). Ancients and Romans for civilians, ground crews for space base personnel and Dark Alliance Stalkers for the 'space pirates'. Great fun but I have to make the space ships from scratch and it's be nice to have some easy to modify vehicles..

I have a wish to make some space ships from scratch one day and I search KZbin from time to time to see how people are making space ships. There are amazing videos, but I found some guy that makes space ships mostly from nerf guns and toy parts. Looks very inspirative so you can check his channel. www.youtube.com/@adamdryer4713/videos

Where did you source all the rocks and what is the material you coat the foam with? Thank you!!
@WhattoRepair2 жыл бұрын
In the beginning i coat XPS foam with regular plaster mixed with water. I forgot to write that in this video. Rocks that I'm using are from three source. First source for sharp-edged rocks is one big rock that I had in my backyard and I broke it into smaller pieces. When it brakes it has sharp edges. It has some bluish color inside. You can find similar rocks in nature, depending where you live. Second type of rocks are dried plaster leftovers. Those are small white rocks. Third type is gravel sieved to different granulations. Smalles granulation is basically sand and the largest is around 3 milimeters in diameter.
