Excellent video. I found one of these amps at a pawnshop and was able to get the price down to $525. The amp is in mint condition and looks brand new. I like this review and the guidance on how to get the best tones out of it. I also like the fact that the guitar player is excellent and has a very strong right hand. This provides a better example of what the amp is capable of. Thank you. I have been to this channel many times and I like the way this host presents amplifiers.

Great demo. I had a JCM2000 for about 18 years before it finally died and I replaced it about a year ago with a DSL100HR, which I immediately swapped the stock tubes with JJ KT77's, TungSol RI 12AX7's and a Sovtek 12AX7LPS for the phase inverter and I can actually coax pretty much every tone I was ever able to get with the DSL2000 and them some.

The TSL sounded best to me. But I owned a TSL and only kept it for a few weeks as I couldn't get a tone I liked. Yours sounds great! I think you have mastered getting just the right amount of gain and SD-1 to taste. I have never used a pedal to boost the input..(other than on Plexi's) but thanks to KZbin I now find that I'm in the minority! I now use two ENGL Powerball heads, but they were the first deviation from Marshalls for me in 40years of playing. I may return to Marshall one day I think :)

Red Wolf’s ’Sessions Vol. 1’ - album is also based on these. And the next Cyhra album will most likely have a few songs / ideas from my videos too.
