The microphone in the headset is such a good way to show noise canceling in video!

As someone who used the wired and the first bluetooth Monitors for a couple of years now, I am really looking forward to these! The sound and volume is amazing, better than Sony's (but this is subjective, everyone's ears and music preferences are different). The joystick control is actually genius, and going back to touch and gesture controls on my current headphones (Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC) is annoying due to random and unintended touches when I'm just taking them off or putting them on or any sort of handling. I would have loved to hear what the mic quality is like, both during calls and voice recording (in my experience the mic quality in calls is almost always worse for some reason). Every other pair of bluetooth headphones I've tried in the past would always disconnect the bluetooth connection when you connect the headphones to a device using the audio cable. However, I discovered with the first bluetooth Monitors that if you have your headphones connected via bluetooth (to your phone for example) and then plug in a different audio source (say your computer) via the cable, then you'll actually be able to hear the audio coming out of both devices at the same time. Don't know if this was intended, or if it's an accidental possibility due to the feature that allows you to connect wired headphones to them so you can share your music, but I hope this feature/bug is still present in this model, as I made use of it plenty in the past.

I absolutly LOVE this Headphones, bought the Marshall Monitor v1 about two years ago and i loved the grounded more solid sound. The only thing i didn't like about the old monitors were the fact that they were REALLY uncomfortable on my ears, i hope the 2th version is better in that regards.

I love these headphones, but I, or should say my callers think different, because on calls the microphone picks up all surrounding sounds really really loud. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone know if there is a solution to this?
@K1989L3 жыл бұрын
I has the original monitor bt headset for about 3 years. I loved them! They sounded great and the battery last long even after couple years! I also was not interested in the noise cancelling feature, which in my book does not even work, and pay 100€ more for it. Unfortunately my headphones died very suddenly. They just kept switching off. I turned them on and got a full 2 seconds of listening until they went out again. I could not find the new model of the monitor anywhere here. And to be honest I would have been a bit hesitant to buy them again since they lasted just 3 years. But anyway.. now I was forced to buy a NC headphones since it is the latest fad. yay. I paid double the price of the original monitors to get these B&W headphones. I am happy with them. They sound great. But I still don't care about the damn noise cancellation.

What isn't covered here and I cannot find ANYWHERE including on the Marshal site is what all the guitar sounds mean in the headset. There are some chords played randomly while I am using them. Chords that are separate from the nuns when using the ANC and M buttons. And the sounds when it connects via Bluetooth to a device. It can get annoying at times as it constantly plays this twang. Additionally -- when you have them paired with multiple devices they do not always stay on the device playing. If I walk to close to the Apple TV my iPhone is lost -- the device is playing and the headsets are connected but the sound is not on. I have to turn off the Bluetooth on the other device (Apple TV or or Laptop) to get them to play. It is kind of annoying. Never had that issue with beats. But they are more comfortable and sturdy that beats.

Hi how is the comfort? Are they nice to wear over time?
@AJ_Lucas3 жыл бұрын
I still use them, and the comfort is spot on. The earcups need replacing now after a couple of years of sweating on them and cold weather, the faux leather is peeling off, but that's understandable. I wear them for a good 2 hours every day. They clamp fairly tight the first couple of weeks but trust me, this loosens up perfectly. I've had SiFi Bomaker earbuds, amongst other types of earbuds, and although the sound quality of the Bomakers is bloody good and immersive, nothing has connected quite so reliably and quickly to my phone as these Marshalls. Each and every time.

My older marshall monitor bluetooth with 3rd party ear cushion sounds way better than this new monitor anc. This new one has less bass and sometimes even harsh on the highs. Although I can adjust the eq with the marshall app and the eq on spotify to up the bass and lower the treble, the my older one without the anc (with 3rd party earcushions) still sounds better. It’s growling bass is punchier and the mids and highs are much delicious in the ear that it makes me want to do ah headbang while listening to rock and metal. This new monitor anc on the other hand not so much. I can hear some bass yes but its weaker, I don’t feel it that much. But this new monitor anc is more comfortable on the ear and the anc is useful drowning out talkative people in a cafe. So when I am working in a cafe I use this monitor anc but when I’m home I use the older monitor bt.

My Monitors were supposed to replace my QC35's which I use for cutting grass. I've been through dozens of these clips, videos, tutorials......tried everything. Coincidentally these 3months-past-warranty coffee table ornaments are JUNK! That is of course, unless you enjoy "air hissing in the right ear cup"-had it...... a toggle(useless) switch you literally have to hold in for 5 seconds EVERYTIME just to power on......which can't differentiate between track skip and volume half the time, a "Marshall App" that crashes weekly, and Bluetooth pairing capabilities that are on par with Dollar General electronics. Elbow-deep pound Marshall's. G-A-R-B-A-G-E!

Why people keep saying that ugly bad smeling bag is any good? They should be embarassed of giving that shit. The headphones are very expensive for their sound quality, they should go about about 120 - 150 and then maybe.
