Mart, I noticed your Tach and Clock weren't working. I'm not sure about the Temp and Fuel gauges - they seemed to twitch a little.? Future projects on the T-Bird? I love little 'sorted' jobs like this. A good deal of satisfaction to be gained from such.

4BA was the standard size for light switch screws before they changed to M4 circa 1980's. Just FYI! :)

Hi Mart, is that another little job that you need to do and that is to secure the vice to the bench or is it a small mobile vice ? Some jobs are a lot easier when the things that your working on are static and not shuffling around.😏

I thought before it shifted gears when you put pressure on the lever with your body so it should not have done that. So I guess there was nothing wrong with holding in the position . When you split the switch apart there was no seal of any type to make it more weather proof?

Hi Galen. You are correct. I did accidentally shift it by leaning on it and pushing the button inadvertently. My thinking was that if I could start it in Park, that would be the position it would be in when left running. With it only starting in N, the tendency is to leave it running in N. The chances of pulling it out of Park are lower than pushing it out of N. Yeah, no seal or gasket on the switch as far as I could see. Thanks as always for watching and commenting.

If you're talking about the light coloured one it's still as we left it after getting it started, I'm afraid. Geoff's a very busy guy. His blue one is going well and gets used quite regularly.
