3:51 Lol such an energy from Martha, I think Stravinsky would be happy!

It is amazing how two pianos can convey the force of a work which is very much orchestral.

I am spoiled by the Jussen brothers. Their Malmö rendition played on one piano and all by heart is a force of nature sparkling with youthful energy. Check it out.

@Claude1Rochon9 ай бұрын

Why bother with a reduction for 2 pianos? It might have been helpful in 1913 for dance rehearsals or showcasing the work. Today we have Boulez's rendition at the tip of our fingers!

Not just for listeners, it’s for players too, it’s fun to play such an amazing piece by yourself or with another friend

It’s argerich and barenboim, unless you think you can play it better then go ahead buddy
@user-ls8vw7yn8d8 ай бұрын
@@cynicxloud the most dumbass comment I saw this year. 1) That’s not because they’re masters they present always a masterpiece. 2) My personal music taste cannot be judged by anyone, even music masters. 3) Adapting Le sacre du printemps into piano is a way, way bad idea from the beginning. It’s incompatible. Even from the composer. So that’s not the question of I can play better or not.
