With all due respect you might want to look into taking your own advice. Listen to the video-at 3 minutes 9 seconds in, they tell her age. You couldn't even make it 3 minutes? Yes-elderly do get dementia. Before nursing homes became the fashionable place to shove your grandparents, they lived with us-we worked through their dementia. We had to have locks on the inside of our doors to protect my grandfather But your entire comment is invalidated by the fact that you didn't even listen to the video. So it's sort of tough to listen to your advice Perhaps give us your experience with what you've done in your life to help the elderly who are experiencing dementia and Alzheimer's disease. How many hours off of KZbin you spend with elderly folks who have dementia. So feel free to take your own advice-stay alert, pay attention to videos before you espouse advice

As has been the case so many times in legal history, the coverup is the crime that gets a conviction. There's no way the prosecutor would have gotten a conviction on insider trading. Martha should have said from the start, yes I got a call, yes I sold the shares, but while I was sitting in that airport, I had no way to know that I was dealing with non-public information. But she didn't do that; she lied instead. Too bad. For what it's worth, I admire her more for the past 20 years than for the 20 years before the conviction. She has shown herself to be an incredibly resilient and, dare I say it, good person.

I really do see some kind of flaw in this stock market scandal . Yet, in reality I really do not know much about Wall Street and investing. Although I have heard , Insider Trading is only because some stock holders were informed about some thing is wrong with a certain stock . So they get advanced warning that the stock is going bad. So then they start selling that certain stock. So I think this is a crime. When all the stock holders are suppose to know at the same time. Meaning all the investors of a certain stock . So I really do not under stand her crime. The facts are . No one on this planet we call earth is perfect. So I wish some one could please explain in detail what her actual crime was? If I owned a stock , then I should be able to sell that stock any time I want. So then what is the crime ? I'm sorry , at my level of intelligence in reference to , what Miss Martha Stewart is accused of doing , I really do not know. She had a great line of Self Help Books. She had a great television show. She is a self made millionaire . So maybe this makes some people very jealous of her. They are in fact jealous they do not have the drive and motivation that she does. Others perhaps, some arrogant well to do men are jealous because she is a successful women in a man's world. Note: " Those that shout the loudest have the most to hide "! So this means her accusers must have lots of dirty secrets they are hiding. Things, that they have did. That they don't want the world to know about? Could this really be the case ? Jesus Christ said," Take the beam out of your eye before you take the spec of dust out of your brothers eye". So what would we really find out , if we dug deep enough into the personal lives of all her accusers? Would this bring real shock to the entire world ?

Well you nailed something - she was a target because of her political views. More that she refused to join the left. She had business dealings with Donald Trump, and anyone from that circle from pawn Stars to duck dynasty got nailed. This witch-hunt has continued for several decades now. It was subtle starting in the 1980s, but it's become so bold, overt - it's sickening. You're not going to find the story here-you'd better off going to Wall Street journal or economist magazine, Forbes. From what I got at the time, basically she would not rat out her friends. They went after her, to get somebody else. She was sure that she would sing like a parrot, and she did the opposite From what I recall at the time, I remember thinking to myself... That's a friend I'd like to have on my side. She doesn't rat people out... She took responsibility for her own actions, but what's interesting is there was never any intent to commit a crime. You have to have motive to prove a crime-and this was just a brain fart. She took advice from a friend, she didn't make a lot of money. It was just a minor business move. I absolutely don't get into gossip, celebrities stuff-(it's raining in Alaska and I got nothing else to do til it stops 🙄.) But I get my news from financial journals- eventually money don't lie and it always leaves a trail. From what I got out of those new sources at the time- She went to jail because she's not a ratt.

@@thegulch1780 Thank you for sharing. My self. I really do not care about some one saying some thing about some one. Just because they have money , power , social status, or so called status quo . Or even are loved by every one. All I care about are the facts. If I can not see the facts . Then all the allegations are nothing but hearsay. Note: It was Jesus Christ that said, " Take the beam out of your eye before you take the spec out of your brothers eye ". I would I liked to know is every detail in the very private lives of all her accusers . Now , what will we find out? Those that shout the loudest have the most to hide. Noticed how the national news never really gets in too much detail about her accusers private lives. What are they doing ? What have they did and been getting away with? This is called : ( SILENCE OF A ENTITY , BASED ON TIME OF DISCOVERY ) California Government Codes : 911.23 and 911.64. Any way thank you for sheading some light . On her false allegations . No one on this entire planet is perfect. Only God is perfect. Some people just love to gossip. Why? Obviously they like to put other people down , just to make their self look good. My response is , I am not impressed. Have a great day. Thank you.

Well I was reading about it after watching this. Fascinating scandal. She sold those stocks in her friend's company on December 27th, 2001...right before the stock price plummeted. Apparently if she had waited 4 more days to the end of the year to sell, she wouldn't have gone to jail. Crazy stuff. Did appear to be insider trading but I don't think she necessarily deserved to go to jail for 5 months. Also she didn't wait for an appeal. But that probably wouldn't have mattered as her sentence was upheld by a judge a year later.

Unfortunately he's dead-on correct about China and that's why they're trying to trash him. You'll be speaking Mandarin and another fifty years. (I also have a well-used passport) But I'm annoyed because they've changed my history and reality with their political agenda I was in New York during the Trump years. They totally changed his reputation according to my headlines in my real life. They've been going after him forever because he's always been a whistleblower and that's why he didn't get into subsidized housing corruption. You had to be an insider. He had the first female construction site project manager of NYC. He broke the glass ceiling for females and minorities-forcing the white good old boys club of Manhattan to deal with females and minorities in the boardroom who were not serving them coffee Both Trump and Martha Stewart have had close connections to the black urban rap community. Oprah Winfrey loved Donald trump-he was a big part of bringing up the African communities in NYC. Realtors need everyone to do well for their real estate to have value. Otherwise they're not successful. They were floating a Donald Trump Oprah Winfrey presidential ticket in the 1990s. So you're going to believe what they say about Trump, yet you're not going to believe what they say about Martha Stewart? You can't have it both ways

They had 2 young children Rogels. both under 6 . He divorced her. I did love Sally. The mother was nasty to me. Then I knew Doctor Hec Harty the police doctor who neglected his family and took my mother out on his ‘rounds’ every afternoon and then after tea he would come back and play cards with my parents. He was charming and I know my dad must have hated him. These wealthy men in Dunedin I could write a book on. I doubt anyone still living.
