hey marthyn! i’ve been working on ankle technique and my left foot is great and has a lot of power and can top out at about 220 bpm. my right foot just seems to lack power and can top out at 200. also i can’t go from quarter notes to eighth notes (and this is one foot at a time) i just can get my right foot to start a ankle stoke section without having issues. i’d love some help fixing this problem. thanks man. i love your videos.

John, my mind just gets blown by the way You holding sticks. It's really working. Thanks for this lesson. I think I will develop this technique, I've tried open close previously but I could not sync it with heel toe. DISCLAMER to all non belivers - this guy is far from "cheating" simply outsitting technician

Double strokes did wonders for my left hand. I like throwing in triple and quad strokes to mix it up too.

"Follow along, if you feel." Yeaaah I think I'm gonna pass on that. I'd drop out after like four notes with the right hand. Left hand won't even try at 130. But thank's for asking.

Looks like john is having a bit of a rough day here. I don't think I've seen him err that many times in hundreds of hours of live shows/footage. (No guys not bashing actually that's a pretty heavy statement regarding how little I see him fudge anything

😂 "right and left hand only" like it's nothing. Tell us about that push pull technique, John, because it's taking me forever to reach 130.

@@Ultr4noob it's minimalized push pull blended with thumb and finger work

Nobody makes 300bpm death metal look more casual than john longstreth. His playthroughs are laughable.
