My only problem with this is that the man hunter will be in immense pain just by touching him. And also hellfire is much more than fire that comes from a flamethrower so I’d assume it would be extremely difficult for man hunter to even lay a hand on him. So I think man hunter will put up a good fight but I think if the man hunter is slowed down with pain ghost rider may be able to give him the pennant stare and end him.

MMH even if he his without the fire weakness, he still can be burned by Ghost Rider with hellfire. If I'm not wrong, hellfire can burn everything that is not from Hell or Heaven. The powers of the Ghost Rider are almost like magic so I think hellfire would burn MMH like normal fire can burn a normal person. MMH's telepathy wouldn't do nothing to Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider is imortal.

1. Whether or not MM is afraid of fire is irrelevant. Fire can still kill him. And, fire is GR's plaything. 2. Head games are off the table completely. J'onn is better at them. But, digging around in a crazy demon's mind is something that would undoubtedly cripple him. Even if Zarathos wasn't crazy, he's still a demon. So, if MM entered his mind, he'd potentially be faced with unending scenes of firey hellscapes. 3. The effect of the penance stare is debatable. The stare plays off of the shame that stains the victim's soul. Deserved or not, J'onn carries a lot of personal guilt. That guilt is at the very core of his character. If he gets caught in the stare, it's highly likely that he would be affected. However, the level of the affect is in question. 4. The most important factor here is that GR plays for keeps. Like Superman and Batman, MM has a tendency to detain individuals whom he should kill. When given the chance, GR will BBQ MM.

So, if I were to have called him a pyrokinetic, it would not have been an erroneous description. 2. As GR controls hellfire. I fail to see how MM gaining a tolerance for natural fire (which I was admittedly unaware of until this conversation) is in any way relevant. 3. Telepathy is one of MM's greatest powers. But, his own unresolved issues with violence and war make him vulnerable to the type of scenes that one might expect to find in the mind of a demon who feast on violent death for breakfast. Could MM ultimately overcome the trauma? Maybe. (If he could manage to live that long).

Assuming Ghost Rider doesn’t have a greater resistance to mental attacks than Spectre, MM wins via the mind. If for some reason MM can’t mess with GR’s mind, then yeah it might be an endless battle unless MM borrows Wonder Woman’s sword or finds some other holy or demonic weapon.

Guardian Tree i don’t read up on DC too much but I wouldn’t think that MM would exactly be fond to see into the mind of a blazing demon. Now I do know that physically GR can’t do anything to MM. I would assume the fight would never end, the ghost rider is an immortal spirit that takes over its host. If MM can somehow kill Johnny then the ghost rider would come back somehow someway. The only way the fight ends is if MM goes on a quest into the fiery pits of hell and defeat mephisto and probably zarathos. And only weapons forged in heaven can actually harm the ghost rider and I would say it has to be a weapon from the marvel universe.

Chris Sabinske MM has done crazier things, he’s also dealt with demons before. Whatever is in GR’s head wouldn’t be worse then what he’s gone through before. I’d argue killing the current host would count as a win for this thought experiment though, otherwise GR can stalemate or win all these fights except against those with reality warping abilities or heavenly weapons. I will say that if it is a stalemate, then MM’s genius intellect will begin to come into play in finding an answer to either trap GR such as in the phantom zone or find a way to get a weapon that will put him down. His mental abilities have even gone across dimensions, so even if the weapon he needs is in another universe it’s not entirely beyond his reach.

Man this is a phenomenal fight. Two power houses going toe to toe. High tier level wise it would be difficult since both characters have shown some pretty op feats. I love both characters but I would give the edge to ghost rider. Don’t get me wrong, If MM goes all out with his speed at the beginning, ghost rider might be in trouble but this fight will last for a while and both will be going at it hard. Ghost rider will take it 6 out of 10 Times.👍🏽

As much as I love Manhunter but I think I don't agree with your outcome here. Yes I know he can power through fire out of his sheer will but that doesn't negate the fact that he is still afraid of it. It will take some time for him to overcome that and considering the fact that Ghost rider's whole game is fire and he would be using it from the get go Martian would be kinda stunned for some time and I think that time is enough for ghost rider to do his work.
