the absolute BEST value Martin, hands down - so beautiful sounding and consistent. I love playing these models in guitar stores because of how reliable the tone is. I think the 000-15 slight takes the cake by having more brightness to offset the mellow mahogany with it's smaller body, but the Dread is amazing too. To me, the best all-solid wood guitar for the price.

The 000-15m is my main guitar. I paid 1000 dollars for it used, feel really lucky to have a guitar with this tone with my limited budget.

I always end up favoring a D-15 or a 000-18 when I go to Guitar Center, I think Martin is making better guitars nowadays. Don’t believe me? Go try a 2021-22 D-28. They’ve definitely upped their quality of late.

I have four Martins, and my D15M is my go-to GIG guitar. I do folk and Americana and it also has the K&K Pure Mini pickups installed as well.

I recently acquired a D15M and I firmly believe that Martin is doing something different on those guitars versus what they did in the past. The one we have is so much better sounding and playing than older ones. I'm a huge fan.

I have a 00015sm and no doubt it is one of my absolute favorites. So easy, smooth and great for a finger picker. I had a 2000 D15, had it forever, and absolutely LOVED the feel and sound. Unfortunately a shoulder injury I won’t recover from forced me to sell my dreadnaughts. Sure do miss it. Two of the best guitars, especially for the money, you can buy. Thank you for this video. I have a Taylor 324ce mahogany guitar and I really love the sound of that wood on any brand be it Taylor or Martin. The mahogany just has that deep rich sound. Sweet!

Awesome….Any new content related to the D-15M(in comparison to other guitars or the functionality/prowess of the D-15m itself) are much appreciated. The older D15M vid’s/tutorials are great but they’re typically placed in a subcategory of the 00 and 000 m’s.

I play mostly drop d and the 000 15streetm, the one I purchased, had the mojo. The low end can be described as the Diezel of acoustic guitars. Has a grinding, rich, textured low end. My favorite guitar right now.
