Too bad this isn't available as a cut-away. It sounds rich and full-bodied. I finally brought home a Sunburst Martin D-35 this week. I admit I wanted that 3-piece back! It's not a cut-away though. My other 2 guitars are cut-aways.

Thank you you for reviewing, very fine work Jonathan. This guitar is pretty, and sounds "too pretty" to my ears too; almost like playing wind-chimes. There are so many harmonics, but 000 body doesn't give weight to that shimmer. I think 000 version with mahogany or sapele would sound more substantial, and accentuate mids.

By far the best acoustic you have reviewed and sampled Jonathan, my natural aging toner finish is getting more like an aged top/vts and the sound just superb. Did you get one yet as I know you like one.😜

That price is one reason why I play Guilds🤣 Guilds sound incredible without the high prices. Martin guitars are beautiful and sound great, but can't justify the price😊 😎👍❤🖖

I prefer OM size guitars, dreadnoughts and jumbo's are well named, great if you have arms like an orangutan, but i haven't. As for this Martin, yes it's very desirable until you dare to ask the price. How much has been added to the price due to the connection with Eric Clapton? Another lottery win guitar. Thanks for the demo, you are far better than Eric Clapton Jonathan.🙂

I just purchased an 000-28 standard for $3199 vs $3899 for EC model. Same guitar. Still too much, but I've wanted one for years. I wish the neck was slightly more narrow tho. Otherwise it's a dream.
