Clive is a great drummer. Always had such a nice balanced sound on the kit.

Martin is a great guitarist, the singer is very good and and handsome too, and it is great to see Clive on drums, but I find the sound of Martin's band a little unbalanced without flute,or keyboards. The familiar lovely textures of sound are not there. Only my opinion. How do others feel on this matter? sttgaegoaktd

There can only be one Ian Anderson. Back in the day, arguably the greatest front man ever. The amazing flute playing, the stage theatrics, the incredible vocals. Nobody can sing today like he could, including him, sadly.
@michaelkoszowski37164 жыл бұрын
Steven Haywood ...i mean ..it's good but i know what your saying ...the flute is the hallmark sound of tull ...but yeah , they could get a keyboard and program the flute parts i guess , give it that tull familarity .

Funny isn't it? Don't you remember that he kicked Martin out of Tull? Why would he be here? They seem to be doing pretty good as is! At least you can hear the Tull songs played properly at long last & songs that never got played when Martin was with JT.

this sounds like a cover band but with Martin and Clive, it is not, and forgive me for thinking that way!

This is "Teacher" not "Locomotive Breath." Jesus, what's going on here? Can I have whatever it is your smoking, drinking, shooting?
@RemyTena27 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I'm sick and do not smoke or drink, it's just an error uploading the video, I usually cut the whole concert and I'm putting names to the songs according to the setlist, if there is any mistake in the setlist, this happens, I apologize again and from now on I will hear the first chords before naming a song. Thanks for correcting me.

OMG the singer. I had to leave. Tull's 1st 4 albums were all I would need on the proverbial deserted island. I spun them till they were transparent. But this was just impossible to listen to. Sorry

Singer is really lousy; this isn't even half as good as the Tull originals. Bad "Tull" tribute band.
@grumv2356 жыл бұрын
Indeed, shocking. Original Tull drummer with longest serving Tull guitarist, shouldn't be allowed to play any Tull songs at all. And singer can only sing a little better than Anderson can these days. Tsk, tsk!
@arkanoiddude5 жыл бұрын
Well you can always go and see Ian embarrassingly try to croak his way through the songs.

@@rocksteady9115 Tragically, my attempt at an ironic response to Robert Catesby seems to have been misunderstood. I actually think Martin Barre's band is really rather good, especially having seen them a couple of times. I also totally agree that IA's vocals these days are, unfortunately, pretty dire.
