I would bet all the disparaging remarks about Martin's looks were written by males! Most women see the charisma and sex appeal in the vulnerability and innocence in Martin's face. Great hair, lovely eyes, lips to get lost in, great complexion, very sexy voice, tall and talented. All this before we get to a killer sense of humor which outweighs regular features any day. As you can tell, in my opinion he's the best!

I'm in the US and first became aware of Martin about 4 yrs ago. In the beginning I thought he was average looking, not your typical handsome leading male actor. However, the more you see of this man, the more you see his personality in action (he might be the perfect man) the better looking he becomes until one day you wake up and think, "Oh, yeah, this is what the real Prince Charming looks like."

It hurts me to here about his looks,i think these people that say these things just want attention, we all should have men like him , he 's got it over them all.love every thing about him.....

The guy that is hosting this show maybe could be called ugly. I cannot believe MC just goes along with whatever these talk show hosts say about him. Although the female host said she doesn't agree with what people say about his looks. I always think when a person is what society calls ugly, they usually do not have an ex wife who loved them desperately and a current wife who adores them. Usually they are alone, not so with MC. He is also loved by many fans who think he is great looking.

I think he is good looking just not in a conventional type of way, even better in my opinion :)

I would also like to say what is the point? I mean why do they even have to mention what critics say about someone? There are a lot of down right ugly actors and I can name a few who can go on any show they like and no one would dare to mention who said they were ugly. So why do they do this in England? Talk show hosts in America do not do that and I am glad, because it has nothing to do with a good interview. I think it is very discurteous and unprofessional.
