Martin D28 1968 played by Bertolf | 'The Water is Wide'

Once again a beautiful vintage Martin D28 enters our shop. This time it is a D28 from 1968; the last full year Martin used the famed Brazilian rosewood! And for this D28, an unmistakably beautiful piece of Brazilian rosewood has been used along with a wide-grained spruce top that also shows some weather checking.
The dreadnought body produces a beautifully balanced tone, where the depth and richness of the tone is very appealing. The tonal properties of Brazilian rosewood are unsurpassed to this day, and when you play this guitar you immediately know why. The deep sound and power this guitar produces, together with the thick, slightly rounder V-neck, give you the ultimate vintage Martin playing experience!
The signs of play and use show that it has been well played in, but it has also been well maintained over the years. For example, it had a refret, and it once had a built-in pickup of which now only a padded output jack patch on the side can be found. The back of the body has three repaired cracks. It is in very good condition and comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
