Really like your product and transparency! Do you ever look for Subcontractors to assemble and or prep site for install. I live in Northwest Florida near pensacola. Would love to promote your Coops . We do love our chickens in the Gulf Coast areas.

I want to purchase the California coop. I just have to convince my husband about it. He thinks one can just get away with a chicken coop you can buy the "cheap" ones from Tractor supply or the likes. Yours is not only well built but well designed!

Thank you! We really take pride on our craftsmanship and how good our coops are for chickens too.

Your products look very well made evidenced by how tightly they interconnect. The use of the pocket screws is brilliant. A couple of comments from someone with over 50 years of construction experience. The "filler" pieces should/would be called "freeze blocks". The rafters/roof would gain a lot of strength/rigidity with a "collar" tie maybe halfway down from the peak or at least a "plywood" gusset at the top that would be at least twice as tall as the one you are using. Mostly a potential issue along the run walls as downward pressure on the roof would try to push the run walls outward without the collar ties. Love the way you have notched the rafters for the purlins. Yea, building this on-site where the bottom is not flat or twisted will make for lots of "colorful" language since your joinery is so precise. ;o) . Do you sell plans for your coops??

@@carolinacoopsservice7306 you will never know with those Florida snakes, they can climb up! I have seen them climb my pool cage screen once in a while. I don't know how they do it.

I don't get using larger lumber than needed on some of the construction? I mean seriously? 2X4 for a little ol structures like egg boxes?? LOTS of FULL sized housing for PEOPLE that is WAY larger has been framed with 2X3 and lasted over 50 years! Smaller structures should be built with smaller lumber otherwise money is wasted, there is less space within, (less ventilation) ...more effort, more paint etc etc...would appeal to moron "more is better" mentality though....reminds me of campers I have seen built on pickup trucks where the guy used full on site built HOUSE sized lumber making a "camper" that totally totally totally overloaded the truck...and why? MORON is why! IMHO
