i had Best Buy install my 5.1.2 system with a Epson 4050 projector, they did not align the projector properly, can you guys come out and dial it in? I tried to have another company (BTZ) But they showed up with no MASKS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Let me know if you can help. thanks.

Does the bigger 50XT match okay with the smaller 40 towers? I’d love to get 60XTi but I don’t think my Marantz 7013 is strong enough.

This is on the second level of the home so there's attic access and we were able to Simply cut the holes and then move the wires from the pre wire location

Anyone know if the FX could be used as front L and R with center channel and sub for interesting 3.1 system or are they only for rear surrounds ?

You could definitely do it, it would create a super wide soundstage. You won't get as much controlled directivity but it would probably sound pretty interesting. Definitely go for a front firing Center Channel. Let us know if you need anything and we'd be happy to get you the best price

I don’t get it. Why not the 60 XTi towers? That’s the proper match for the center you’re using.

You can always go larger on the center channel. It plays the majority of the movie. Not to mention, a center channel is just a speaker. Compare the size of a 50 XTI to a motion 40i. Look at the chamber size difference, The 40 is a significantly larger speaker. It’s a small room and the customer didn’t want such a massive tower speaker. Thanks for watching and for your input

Lol. My friend, not everyone does Acoustics treatments at the same time as the initial installation. They plan on putting some insulation behind the speakers and acoustically treating the rest of the room. That will take a bit of time. That room sounds freaking awesome the way it is especially because it has slanted ceilings and resonating frequencies are quite minimal. Definitely needs some work but nothing major
