Martin Luther King Jr. speaking at a rally in a discount store parking lot at East 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue, in Cleveland, Ohio on July 28, 1967
King was promoting an agenda encouraging African-American communities to register to vote. He also delivered a message of self-worth and pride.
"I want to say to everybody under the sound of my voice this afternoon that you are somebody. Don't let anybody make you feel that you are nobody. You are somebody. You have dignity. You have worth. Don't be ashamed of yourself and don't be ashamed of your heritage. Don't be ashamed of your color. Don't be ashamed of your hair. I am black and beautiful and not ashamed to say it."
"Every politician respects votes, and we have enough potential voting power here to change anything that needs to be changed. And so let us set out to do it and to do it in no uncertain terms. And finally, I want to say to you that if we will organize like this, we have a power that can change this city."

@@markovangjeli7982 omg here we go, always worried about what we have going on. Nobody went centuries to generations telling white people that they aren’t beautiful. Wanna give a debate on that then let’s get it. Til then, move along and let 45 tell y’all how beautiful you are because WE are appreciative of OUR heroes letting us know how much loved we were and will always be.

@@applefarm6126 again, nobody didn’t say it wasn’t. Nobody went around telling white Americans that they’re featured are too much, or they’re skin is too dark. I’m the wrong type to argue with on this because I’m not gonna empathize with no other group of people when my own people experienced too much struggle here. You wanna go parading that, like I said head over to Fox News or whatever

@@_hitmne obviously it’s a contrast in that sense, while no one might’ve said they’re skin was too dark they might’ve said it was too white or that they looked like ghosts, etc. it makes no sense to argue that phrase as no one argued yours. Someone could say they’re proud to be white, just like someone can say they’re proud to be black. It isn’t fair to assign a negative connotation to that phrase or the people of that race as it seems like you wouldn’t want it done to you. Both and many other races and skin types can be seen as beautiful as well, it’s not a competition and it’s childish to think so. If someone wants to say white is beautiful as well, that’s fine as they aren’t putting any race down in that sentence. And their is no issue in that statement. Fox News has nothing to do with the person’s statement. There is no “type” to argue with, it is unfair and hypocritical to not feel any empathy for another group oof people because you seem to want yours to be lifted up, superior, etc. many racial and ethnic groups can have the same encouragement, including white. Trying to fight someone over that you because you feel wronged, by a few people from that race (out of the millions) and trying to seemingly have an oppression competition to validate yourself, and the inclusion of your race (while excluding theirs) is childish. Many know and agree that what happened was wrong, but that does not take away from the pain that several white people also had to face. Irish were called Micks and spat upon, redheads were seen as evil, the devil, witches. Even in the Salem witch trials they were notorious for burning women, every race has had its struggles, invalidating them to empower you is wrong. It’s also a matter of preference, someone saying one thing is beautiful is not saying something else isn’t. If they agree and say white is beautiful, they didn’t take away from the original message, they included themselves under the word beautiful as well, some would say that signifies the belief that any race or color can be seen that way and should be given that encouragement on a non discriminatory basis. If someone likes themselves and is proud to be white, that in itself is not negative. White can be and is beautiful to many, similar to how black is. There is no debate to be had.

Allah says in the Noble Qur'an( the noble recitation) Surah (word picture) 15:28 that Allah created man from Black Clay. The Bible does not have a verse liked that!
