Science has even proven this, they tell me. (Full marks for coming up with that as a research project and again for getting it fully funded!!!) The practise of this is withering on the vine because of today's "lest we offend" mantra and needs a bloody good kick up the arse to umm... to reboot it.

Honestly, I think Martin Martmartinson has knocked it out of the park with their Jubilee Range! I was particularly impressed with how the model's square wheels (truly an innovative feature) meant that it ran for a whopping 30 seconds! Such brilliant performance clearly justifies the £120,000 price tag, I don't know what those 'critics' were talking about.

THIS IS WHAT I NEEEEEEEEDEEEEEEED O MY GOOOOD. God. This applies to all this industry, not only for the UK market. This is genius. I thought about ACME all the time. Who's ACME? An Italian H0 scale producer that has about 3 to 4 years delays on it's catalogue items. Some items are present in catalogues spawning from 2019 to 2023 and still didn't reach the market. When you buy something from ACME expect faulty or derailing wagons, if you buy a set of 3 passenger cars expect 3 separate headaches and have things fall off the models when opening the box. BUT HEY! They are the only ones that produce some highly detailed specific rolling stock pieces so people will buy, wouldn't they? :) Thank you Sam, it's just our hobby's market.
