Hard to believe that almost five years have passed since this was first played by this group of great musicians. Is this really the era of the best music ever? I am beginning to think it is, what with all the freedom to play and explore, and the great equipment that is available, and the fine musicians playing super-fine songs. I am content most days to just listen to KZbin and let my old favorites from the 60s-70s-80s rest on my spare hard drives. Martin Miller has collected as good a group of musicians as ever played to gether, and the drum stylings of Felix Lehrmann are second to none in my book. Thank you to the Martin Miller players, and to KZbin for bringing them to a wider public.

Andy and Martin as far better guitar player than Gary Moore, but smartass and idiots can´t admit and perceive this reality! To me, the reality and the real prove speaks louder than the myths and propaganda about Gary and a lot of musicians.... Today the technical level, or degree, of the guitar is more higher than 80s. Today we´re moved to fusion, mixing everything - blues, jazz, rock, soul, funk etc. - in a same style. In my opinion we´re better today in free and musical liberty than 80, but with a few good musicians and with a few originality, like one Van HAlen, LArry Carlton, Gambale, Greg Howe, Michael Lee Firkins, Jeff Beck etc, for example. Regards

I think they're just haters that dislike any kind of music that demands some degree of talent. i.e. actual music. And Alex, about your comment, music is not a race or championship, musicians don't compete. You have to keep in mind that these "far better" guitarists liked at least this one of Gary's song. @@alexwalendowskyhorta9858 and I talked about music. Music isn't about technical levels, myths or propaganda. When you talk about "levels" you talk about some sort of chart or ranking. Most important, these two guys probably believe in those myths or propaganda you talk about. Or they just like what they listened. Otherwise they haven't made this cover in the first place.

"Still Got The Blues (For You)" Used to be so easy to give my heart away But I found out the hard way There's a price you have to pay I found out that love was no friend of mine I should have known time after time So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you Used to be so easy to fall in love again But I found out the hard way It's a road that leads to pain I found that love was more than just a game You're playin' to win But you lose just the same So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you So many years since I've seen your face Here in my heart, there's an empty space Where you used to be So long, it was so long ago But I've still got the blues for you Though the days come and go There is one thing I know I've still got the blues for you.

This is by far one of my favorite arrangements ever. I've been working hard at trying to learn your solos Martin. This song gives me so many chills when I'm playing it and hearing it!

What about Martin Miller’s vocals? Simply amazing! I love this. Both Andy and Martin are awesome!

MIller sounds a lot like Glenn Frye here.

Andy is Andy, no matter what. Great playing full of soul. Martin is Martin, great playing full of tecnic. And a great voice. And all the band are amazing. Gary would love it. Much as we do❤

Martin your vocals are like honey dripping down the honeycomb bro and perfectly on key. Great job! Andy and Martins solos were top shelf and the harmony at the end was the perfect finish. All complimented by the rest of the band with ultra-tight precision. Hands down the best version of that song yet; in my world anyway. If I may call you "Martin and the Machine", greatest session band ever! True fan of your highest quality musical productions.

Fantastic playing. I personally find Gary's simpler soloing more suitable for this song..
@mikfenn5 жыл бұрын
@@cyjazz Gary Moore may well have played a simpler solo but he was in no way a simpler player, that man could play any style and all of them with a TON of emotion
@cyjazz5 жыл бұрын
@@mikfenn absolutely correct. I was only commenting on the specific solo.. He could shred, wail, play the blues, make the acoustic sing... An all around complete musician...

This is a fantastic rendition of a great blues song to the next level. What intensity by two great lead guitars, Martin Miller and Andy Timmons. Thanks to other members of the band. Great connectivity and Gary Moore would be proud of this truly awesome cover. THANKS for this cover. Sets the standard for covers.👍👏👏 Magnificent ❤️
