Thanks so much. I thought maybe the treble was EQ’d a little bit bright but that can be seasoned to taste so to speak. I’m impressed so far. Just got his guitar

@@gair1944 man, our tastes are so similar. I just got an om-28 about three months ago. Phenomenal tone. And, you're right from your other comment, it's extremely even across the spectrum of tone and maybe not quite as bright as the video, but every time I pick it up I notice these shimmery overtones from the high strings and could hear them on yours, too...so much ear candy. The deluxe reverb you have and the tele together? Same! Just amazing tone. And those fishman loud box amps are, for the price, pound for pound just amazing and do great with vocals, too. Really good internal reverbs as well. Very analog sounding. Love your gear. Oh, I was wondering, I had to have my nut recut on the OM because the high e-string was cut too close to the edge of the fretboard. How is yours on that?

I’ll check the high end string position but I didn’t notice any problems playing it. The guitar just arrived yesterday so I’m still feeling it out. I have five gigs in a row starting tomorrow so I’ll know a lot more by Sunday night.

Thanks so much. I might need to reposition the speaker. The tweeter was aimed right at the mic so it’s a little bright. The guitar is however very balanced acoustically

Fishman Aura VT enhance pickup. Sitka top, East Indian rosewood and it has Adirondack spruce bracing. 1/4” braces . I’m not sure if the regular OM28 has 1/4” bracing?

Sounds really good. I have a om28 custom shop with vts top and adi bracing. The custom shops are great. Love your cutaway and wish martin would add them back in the standard series. That pickup sounds really good.

@@thomasmoore3822 Thanks Thomas. This is a 2017 Custom shop model. I picked it up used last week. The Fishman Aura VT Enhance is good but pretty lean and pristine. Also, the jack does not make a connection with my Sennheiser XSW Wireless. A regular guitar cable works fine. Weird. Found that out at a gig last night. I had other guitars with me and also regular guitar cables so it was non-issue. But it caught me off guard.
