Another fine time at the cabin. If you get stuck in the mud, in an All Wheel Drive vehicle, turn off traction control. Then reverse as much as you can and shift to drive, then nail it. Been there and done that Martin, and it works. I've been bogged down to the floorboards in my Mazda AWD.

So looking forward to having my cabin built soon so I can do exactly what you were doing in the beginning of this video. Relaxing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. In today's crazy world this is all a man needs. One day on my property I took a break from clearing timber and just sat down to listen to all of the sounds. I'm not too up on all of my bird species yet but it sure is fun watching them.

We have had more bears this year as well. They say it’s because of the virus and more people are out in the woods camping etc. I would think where you are it would be about the same because it’s so far out. I don’t know! I do know it’s been a crazy year and I appreciate these videos all that much more!!

Fortunately the bears usually avoid the immediate cabin area. My area is remote enough that the bear hunters don't care to tend bait stations that far away.

Well finally a round log cabin-like we had on the old homestead, few people realize round logs were the norm in the olden days, now that's a real cabin! haven't watched TV for 39 years.

Yes, it is an original log cabin built with trees from the immediate area. Back they were in a hurry to beat winter so all were built on the ground. I lifted it and put it on stone to save it as the bottom logs were rotting away.

It is Martin enjoying the great outdoors. It is amazing just how (loud) nature can be when it is creating its own music. Looks like your chimney have a bit of a lean? Is your cabin visible on google earth? All terrain tires work fairly well as long as it is not too deep. Maybe God will let us know why he created misquotes in future. That cabin life is good for the soul. An after all the work you do a break is needed. Besides theres always work around the cabin to be done. If you dont do it today well it ll be there tomorrow. A walk an a cherry pie sounds perfect. And as far as tv goes if u stay there for weeks u wont miss a thing except vonnie an her cooking.

Hello Martin, I think you should consider packing in some pre-cooked frozen sausage patties, Kraft single cheese slices, some eggs and some English muffins so that you could whip up a tasty egg sausage McMuffin for in between meal snacks. I use round silicone egg rings for the eggs and "Great Value" brand Original Pork Sausage Patties from Walmart. They are the perfect size for an egg, sausage McMuffin and they're very tasty. Can you guess what I was eating while watching this video?

There are so many tin cans around those cabins that the only effective way to find things is digging through everything and using a magnet and a metal detector.
