The tent always reminds of a place I used to go as a kid. It was an old cabin on a lake. We would spend weekends there hunting, fishing, cooking, and goofing off. Thanks for the videos.

Always nice to catch that glimpse of Lake Superior. Your lake is beautiful, too. Nothing like jumping right back in with the chain saw, your 'lifting' restrictions just over. That is a lot of downed trees. Continued healing and thanks for sharing the tent! 👍😎🇨🇦🌲🔥🌊

We use to get permits to cut up any tree that had fallen by natural causes in Francis Marion NF (South Carolina) back in the '90s. It was a $10 saw permit. How do you obtain them now days?
@NorthernSeclusion5 ай бұрын
I just contacted the Superior National Forest office and got the permit. 20 dollars allows you to cut 2 cords of wood, the wood has to already be on the ground of course, not live trees. 10 dollars for each additional cord. If you are just collecting for a campfire you do not need a permit.

Your videos are beyond relaxing, so pretty at the tent, calming even. Hope you’re still taking it half easy, lol, you seemed hard at it, but also a good kid to your Dad, I’m 69, and on a good day, when I can get up in the morning, and not ache too much, (which is rare 😂), I still feel like a kid, at least in my mind. Keep doing what you’re doing, seems to be working. N.S. 😊

I don't like when the microwave gets cleaned and the floor gets vacuumed and the table gets wiped down, that means you're going home. Just like when you take the garbage can out the driveway. Means it's over till the next time.

I haven’t tuned in for a while. I wasn’t getting updates. I have two questions, did you change your KZbin handle? And also, how far in Miles or hours is the drive to the tent from home? Just curious . I have a place in northern Wisconsin. It’s a 4.5 hour drive non stop

Joe, when you had your surgery did they do a double mesh or a single? My ex had double hernias and they did a double mesh because of his job. He ran a debarker at a mill. His was caused by lifting on the wood. He was skinny and didn’t exercise or do anything outside of work.

Can you not fish up There whenever you want ? Or does it have to a certain season or what? Because here in Mississippi we don’t have any fishing season it’s open all year, with the exception of red snapper and certain grouper and offshore fish way out in the gulf but for the most everything else is open all the time
@NorthernSeclusion5 ай бұрын
Minnesota has a fishing season. You can fish for panfish whenever you want but the bigger sought after game fish closes at the end of February and opens in the middle of may. Gives them time to spawn.
