That's paying attention Eddie Szubzda. Now its up to you to keep the Morel Mushroom spot from being picked over before we get there. Just follow my directions and enjoy a feast of Morels next May. Drive to International Falls, Minnesota and get a large coffee at one of the Holiday Stations. Head west until the coffee is cold or too cooled to be any good. At a big hole turn left and drive for a piece. Turn right and drive for a good stretch. You will come up on a hump in the gravel road, do not turn there. Just ahead is another hump. Turn left on this forest lane and drive until you get stuck in the mud. Walk about another mile and when you see some really big trees on your left head into a foot trail and walk until you are in Morel Heaven. enjoy and don't let anyone follow you.

I think of you as a FREIND and enjoy our "long distance" relationship. We share a love for the outdoors and birds and other wildlife and hiking and cabin life and faith. Perhaps one day we will meet and hike out there somewhere. Don't mean for this to be weird, I'm married to the same gal for over 40 years. I love to listen to the crackling of the fire. Reminds me of when I lived with my Grandfather at our family beach cabin in Manzanita, Oregon up on Neahkanie Mountain (just like the story of Heidi! LOL) We didnt have a washer or dryer, so every night after I got home from work, I would wash what clothes we had worn that day in the bath tub, and then ring them out really good and hang them by the fireplace. They'd be dry by morning! My Grandpa taught me how to chop wood, start a fire, make pies and cakes, and even cinnamon rolls; you know, all the major necessities of life! I have many lovely memories of my Grandfather, and growing up at the beach "Chalet" as he called it. He built it back in the 50's with the only help being from his Nephew. He built it for $1,000 made from old recycled school building materials. Then, in 1995 he turned around and sold the place for $400,000; being an ocean front view and all! Grandpa passed away in 1998. If he could see the old Chalet now all remodeled; I'm sure he would say something like, "well, you can't stop progress." but I know deep down he would be choking back the tears. Now, it's a vacation rental with a washer and dryer to boot! Lucky bums! Thank you, once again, for such a wonderful video Mr. Martin! tell the Mrs. I said "HELLO!" It was sweet of her to pack those "kisses" for you! LOL blessings, Washington State

My mom grew up hiking almost every weekend from age 3 up into her teens even in the winter. I got a taste of it, but I have always felt like I belonged out there in the natural world. We ended up in a noisy, smelly city. Just today we talked about our longing to be in the woods and see the stars again. Since she likes having the TV on when she sleeps, I opened KZbin and found this video. I can't hear it yet, but I subscribed because this already looks great. I'm playing it directly from your channel, so she'll wake up in the woods somewhere. We'll see what she thinks in the morning. :) Thanks for sharing your fun life with everyone. Take care.
