On "Vonnies Kitchen" channel I loaded a 20 minute relaxation video with three parts: Swan in the snow, a reflection with snow melting and dripping and the snow falling on the cabin. All three are in slow motion for a peaceful interlude. I lose the sound when in slow motion and do not want to put a sound track in a piece like this.

Thank you for another great video, quiet time in nature is the best of time. The new generation have a need to be connected to Facebook or other social media on a constant bases. They are extremely uncomfortable at the thought of being alone and need a constant chatter in their lives. Sad that they will never experience the special peace that nature provides for those who enjoy long walks on a forest trail or the simple comfort of just sitting in a rustic cabin heated by a vintage wood stove.
@livelife44714 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean that it is nice to have company but also it is nice to be alone in the woods. Your cabin offers lots of entertainment whether it is sipping hot coffee in front of the wood stove while watching the snow fall, a walk to Hawkes pond, watching the Canada jays or partridge or looking for artifacts from Svend's cabin. Much better than watching TV. So your cabin is a really valuable asset to you - enjoy it as you always do.

My hubby and I are both rather introverted also, yet we’ve both enjoyed expressions of functioning a lot thru the years as extroverts- you know how caring about people brings that about :). 52 years of marriage and somewhere along there we’ve learned that each other’s interests and regrouping expressions takes us down separate lanes now and again... and we’re better together for it :)

Greg Boyer- This cabin is not far in the bush. If you look at his stove, it uses natural gas. I suspect if he has a gas stove he also has electricity. You need some way of keeping food from spoiling. This might be a cabin but not a cabin in the bush!

It is the real deal Mary. Propane gas is brought in as 20 pound propane tanks. I have a propane refrigerator too to keep things frozen. Solar panels charge car batteries which provide electricity for the LED light system and the car radio. Nearest power line is at least 10 miles away.

And one of the thing's that caused me to suffer, was that, he had to talk all the time. Just to fill the silence of nature with his thoughts. One day he talked for 10 hours non-stop. So I understand, this is not for everyone. Many thanks fro sharing this with us. Kind regards and greetings from Africa.
