Martin SC-13E Review

Real happy to share with you Martin's new guitar. I was intrigued by the reviews I saw and our local dealer had one. Because they are hard to come by these days, I jumped the gun and yeah, didn't regret this purchase.
As we all know Martin is known for their traditional shapes and builds and this one is a complete departure from that and I believe this works. The Martin tone that we know is very much present in this and the comfortability is phenomenal. If you are new to Martin and a gigger, this can definitely be a good starting ground although the price tag is quite hefty, you will be rewarded greatly with its playability and tone.
Strings used by the way are Martin Lights Monels.

Hi Will. I changed it unfortunately as they are thin and lacking power. I changed to Martin Monels and wow it sounds great.

Hi there. They sound great plugged in. I would expect a little bit of an upgrade for the pickups at least for this price range. I do have a couple of videos with this plugged in and I hope you like how it sounds.

Hey there! I'm not really sure as I lost count haha. I guess around 10+ guitars at the time of that recording. GAS is real and I'm reducing some as I hardly use some unfortunately.

how about a Martin 000-42 sir?

Hello po Sir Holden. Masyado na pong mahal ang 000-42 besides e mas gusto ko po kasi tunog ng Mahogany. Kung kujuha po siguro ako uli yung 000-18 kasi Spruce/Mahogany combo po yun maganda po ang tunog sobra. Maganda po icompare yun sa FS5 ng Yamaha.

@@ed_music1834 oo nga sir magandang comparison yun pareho ang wood combinations..pero sigurado pareho silang maganda..anyways,keep on playing sir!hanggang pangarap nalang din ako dyan sa 000-42, pero meron din naman ako ditong 2years old Taylor Academy 12e which i played a lot..and i really like the sound lalo na nung nag swithced ako from elixirs to d'addario..elixirs are too bright for me...next project siguro would be a Martin Dreadnought JR at masaya na ako..

@@tribu1071 Salamat po. Kung gusto nio pa po mabawasan yung kalamsing ng Taylor try nio po ng kahit anong Nickel Bronze na strings. Kung may makita kaung Martin Monel much better po. Taylor po kasi kahit anong palit mo po sa strings napakamakalansing pdin po. At least kapag Nickel Bronze mabawasan.
