is it weird that I rather watch their static pictures than the actual videos. I found the pictures more informative and to my liking.

I am terrified by the total lack of cultural background and respect of this guy.His approach about such rich and ancient Brasilian culture is extremely unrespectful and does not express the reality of the way the original tribes live and deal with nature. I dare I haven't stopped here. Simply disgusting!

He definitely snuck some snarky comments in there, but I appreciated the matter of fact rundown of his time there. We should obviously not expect more from someone with a background in photography and not history or cultural studies. He is simply recounting his experience as he lived it, which we should also keep in mind as biased due to the nature of him being an outsider to this people

"They love their soda." This is tragic..... Tonga has one of the highest obesity and Type 2 diabetes populations in the world. They love their soda too. Unfortunately, hese indigenous groups are genetically more susceptible to diabetes. What will the health of these tribes be in 10 years with their diet containing increasing amounts of soda and processed foods? They need education. The soda will make you sick and bring you to an early grave.

It's the same in my tribe Tawira Miskito kiamka, rampant diabetes and high blood pressure, but we can still turn things around with our knowledge, pride and our connection to our Land. I'm still in my 20's and hopeful.

These are the very same Natives whom once they assimilate into civilized society, speak Spanish or Portuguese, are referred to as “Latinos.”
