Holy SHIZ, Fee! I love it when you look at him and you see that he and his instrument and voice are all one thing, channeling the groove or song he's working with at the time. You ever find that when you watch him play, sometimes your eyebrows are doing about the same thing his are. The man plays with some pretty evocative tones :) My jaw dropped until I got "used to" the epic Since I Been Lovin You. Thanks for sharing!

Same. I am asked by friends why I don't just put the camera away and watch the performance. I definitely do watch, but I want to capture footage for myself and others to enjoy for much longer than one performance. I posted a couple John Roderick (The Long Winters) songs and one I recorded while watching Roderick play, the other while watching the video screen. Both are great, but I like having the good vid to go with the sound. Have you watched "Commander Thinks Aloud?" Powerful song.
