Watching tv from the 90s makes me realise how censored and careful tv has become. The idea that someone can casually talk about legalising drugs on a family breakfast time show didn't raise an eyebrow then.

I met Paula Yates once, very full of herself and desperate to dominate the room. Damaged lady who came to a sadly predicable, tragic end. Martin Shaw's a great actor but why does every leading man role have to be a police detective? I wonder why actors don't get bored of this and protest? Sadly ironic that Paula Yates asks him about drugs, when she died of a heroin overdose while in charge of her 2 year old daughter.

I think poor Paula didnt have the best of lives. Her mother was a liar and denied hughie green was her dad, small wonder she had a fractured live. I loved her and i will say this she loved and lived for her kids. RIP Paula ❤️🙏❤️🙏
