Hey Scott, hmm, I never count them :) Since I´m a little neurotic I can´t record a song like this in one take, because one minute in I would be worrying about the ending and that inevitably leads to a screw-up! Here I´m just playing along to the finished recording, and that works fine (I made no direct mistakes) since the pressure is off, so to speak... On my first album, I remember doing 150 takes of a solo before I was happy with it, hehe - just do what it takes to get the result you want!

Thank you! Yeah, the sound came out nice. I use only the one mic you see in the video, a Rode NT2-A condenser. With a touch of stereo reverb you can still get a nice wide sound.

An uplifting tune (of which we need all we can get these days) and wonderfully played. You're getting an exceptional recorded sound here. I can see a large diaphragm condenser in frame; is that the only mic you used, or did you go with a 2 mic stereo placement? By the way, thanks for posting your test of the MiniFlex. I bought a model 2 largely based your video test and am so far very happy with it. I did my own review and have recorded 2 other videos with it. Eager to use it live now.
