I loved the start time. I wish every NASCAR race started between 6 & 7 PM EST. Leaves your Sunday open to do things and is a great way to wind down before the work week.

I think the reason for the night start was weather. They knew how hot & humid it could get for the attendees. Even with the night start, it was 90 degrees with a dew point of 73!!! I was there & was greatful it was a night start!!!

Being from Iowa, I decided to sit down and watch the weekend. ARCA was exciting and seeing a future JRM Driver get the win was great. Xfinity Race was okay because I don't have a favorite Driver, although I tend to check on Hallie Deegan, but, they didn't mention her even once. The Cup Race, well, I am a Larson Fanatic, so, when I saw him shoot the middle and then he wrecks, I shouted "why would you do that, dumb**?" Then, I had to leave my den and go shoot some photos. To me, Larson did not have to make that move that early, he was dominating and could easily get back to the top 3 of even the lead. He gave that win away. Oh, well, I am glad the Iowa Fans had a great time in the stands and I hope they make some improvements to the track or maybe repave the whole thing. The late start may have been because of the temps as it was hot.....real hot!!!!

As a fan, I miss the night races. There are hardly any of them anymore and that's how we all grew up watching it, either on tv or at some local track. Not having night races is a fail on NASCAR's part. The race ended at 10 which compared to other sports that have night events is actually early. NFL and college games don't start till after 8 and they end more like 11, sometimes later than that in tight or OT games. It was about a 3 hour race and it ended at a reasonable time for fans that had work in the morning. I get the teams travel, but they are on the clock, and travel time is rest time. They also have easy Mondays, so it's not really an issue.

Blaney didn't dominate, Iowa. Kyle Larson dominated Iowa led the first stage went to the back. Drove all the way to the front to win the second stage. Dominated everything up till he got spun. Blaney would have finished second at best if Larson didn't wreck

For people who are in the television industry not to know that the Olympics will take precedent over NASCAR on NBC is pretty ignorant of you Kevin harvick this goes to you directly as a KZbin TV subscriber you can edit where you put your channels so like for me during the first half the season and the better half of broadcasting I put FS1 and FS2 on the top of my list right next to ESPN and then regular channels so you can customize it to what you want and the algorithm the more you watch that shadow that's what will play on your home screen when you log on first Second off you can just use the speaker button on the remote and say turn to USA turn to whatever channel you want and it will play that channel so you don't need to go searching for it I really hope y'all keep this podcast up during this your quote unquote offseason

Horrocious is not technically a word but I have been using it and heard it used for well over 10+ years now (I am 34) so it's not out of the ordinary that it would be used, it's described as American slang for Frighteningly Bad. usually used in very bad car accidents or very dangerous accidents that happen in jobs with a high fatality possibility such as Mechanic, Construction workers, Electric Linemen.
