Martin Turner is a mensch - and one of the greatest and most underrated Bass players of all time. Thanks for the interview.

Martin is the key founding member of Wishbone Ash and he's one of the most melodic rock bass guitar players of all time - a totally class act! 🎸

Great interview - and shows that Martin Turner has always been the heart and soul of the band.

The true story - he is a great human and musician. Can warmly recommend his book "No Easy Road" and -not at least-- his last album "Written in the stars" for every real fan of the original Wishbone Ash. I love this guy and his live performances ❣️

Now I understand why the type of music changed from Argus. The first 3 albums were superb. Bravo Martin.

This is great. Its so nice to hear an in depth account of these great chapters of songs. Each album is its own unique journey but its them. The best.

Wishbone Ash - maybe one of the most underrated supergroups. Simply love them, and Martin influenced me most playing the bass. Still remember the lousy gig at Nuremberg Messehalle 1976, maybe due to lousy audience, to lousy premises, and maybe the band hadn’t been in the best mood. As for myself, I‘ve always been missing Ted, couldn‘t really like Laury (sorry, guy). And, Martin, there are two most awesome bass lines👏👏👏👏👏

What happened to Ted Turner and Laurie wise field??
@danabigelow88443 жыл бұрын
Basically small piece that I know today is that Laurie was with them for quite a while and I believe he whatever got lured away and did a 1&1/2 year world Tour with the Tina Turner big band when she was highly successful Peak and Teddy got tired of the Rock and Roll Lifestyle quote and his son dying didn't help. Currently he lives in Arizona with his wife Majella and they make what Teddy calls New Age Soul. Check them out KZbin Ted & Majella "Better Together"
