I don’t think people recognize how much skill it takes to produce and host multiple very different shows on one channel. Ellis has to be a skilled interviewer for Shirt Shopping and a compelling travel presenter for Away Days - while also needing to be a good comedy writer for the high-concept Away Days episodes. I remember he was a commentator on YTV football highlight show on Sunday afternoons in the mid 1970s. That's 50 years ago and he's still at it. Amazing his voice hasn't given up the ghost. He's probably had that shirt since the 1970s as well.
