I was in the US Air Force and was stationed at a communications relay site outside Martina Franca from 1982-1984. I lived just outside the town of Martina Franca.

@@TheDrunkenTourist The relay site is still there and is abandoned. The large billboard antennas are still there also. Yes Martina Franca is a lovely town to live in but there are other lovely towns to visit around the area Locorotondo, Fasano, Alberobello, Monopoli, and the birthplace of Rudolph Valentino, Castellaneta just a 50 minute drive west of Martina Franca. Italy has towns named after saints so St. Martin is the day they celebrate it in Martina Franca with festival and fireworks in the evening. Great food based on the area of the way they cook. I gain some weight for the 2 years I was there. Thanks for the video. Brings back memories on all the places you video'd.
