This song really touches my heart. As a young adolescent, I was an angst-filled grunge chick, who listened to very abrasive and depressing 🎶. All the pain I felt was due to stigma I faced for having a movement disorder...this was 1997-2000, before internet and Google was widespread. The grunge look was basically just a defense mechanism.

This is why you should never judge a book by its cover. You never know when God is testing you. We had a guy ask for money for a bus ticket it was like $5 all we had was a $20 bill that’s all we had. He said thank you and God Bless and walked away. Never saw him again. I mean literally never saw him again he just disappeared into thin air. We looked all over the parking lot and couldn’t find him
