Always loved those huge panoramic windows of the DC-8, wish more plane makers, had follow Douglas in this area.

Great video. Best jet airliner ever made. Big windows & comfortable seating. Grew up on these - one flight in 1968 ( was only 14 ) I was invited into cockpit and given a chance to actually fly this airplane from left seat for a couple minutes - with passengers on board ! Did a shallow "S Turn" at 36,000 ft over Grand Canyon. Plane handled beautifully. I was hooked and immediately began taking flying lessons at local airport. Rest is history. Thank You DC-8.

I only flew with this particular aircraft once, from Amsterdam to Alicante. It is PH-MAU named Toronto. It was sold to Aviaco as EC-DEM in 1978. Plane was broken up in May 2002 after 36 years of flying. Groetjes uit Virginia Beach, USA
