Thanks for the review, i just picked up the M4 i got the dimpled face i used it the other day framing. Yes framing works great, but im use to the long handle my framer is the Daluge titanium great hammer but always have to have a back up handle. No vibrations from this hammer. I think a long handle with the m4 head would work well cause the heads flat at the top wich allows for tight spaces. Thanks for the cons ill stick with the natural titanium handle go with the colored grips. I did get this for finish work but i wanted to give it a work out.

Glad to hear that! I definitely want to give a M4 a try as well! We Appreciate you watching👍🏻

I’ve got both the M1 and M4 with M1 head. Found the M4 didn’t quite have enough length behind it. So got the M1. Shock wise I couldn’t disagree more. The hole point of the Ti is stop the shock in your hand. Which was the biggest thing I noticed going from the estwings. So ye. Are they worth the money. Errrmmm not sure. Do I like having it. Hell ye. Would I buy another one if it got stolen. Probably not. I do think the length thing is something you just have to get used too tho as everyone I know with them initially said they don’t like the way it fells but now we don’t like the feeling of normal hammers.

I do flat roofs and pound a lot of metal cap nails and 2 1/2 - 3 inch nails , setting screws/spikes etc and swinging a heavy hammer most of the day can get tiring, im thinking getting custom built m4 with a m1 head, i want the shorter handle with the 15 oz head. Do you recommend anything in particular
@donc79843 жыл бұрын
Going to be $318 dollar investment but im hoping it will save my elbow and arm
@fixinthecoast2673 жыл бұрын
Personally the 15oz head feels like a 20oz on the Martinez. That's just how it's designed, it has alot of leverage. I have a custom M1 and 2 custom M4s. They are both some badass hammers, doing what you're doing I feel like the full size m1 would surely wear you out quick but it'll drive the fuck out of those big nails. I think the M1 head on the m4 handle is a great idea. And being how awesome Martinez is, if you don't like it, you can always buy just the M4 head and try it out as well.

I'll be doing a video this week on my M4s, Rapid square and M79 head
@fixinthecoast2673 жыл бұрын
Trust me bro, once you swing a Martinez you won't go back. Itll take you at least 1-2 weeks to get used of how different they feel and swing. I do recommend getting the Curved Grip, you'll love it

I have about $1200 of hammers and squares for Martinez and I love my investment

Dont understand why people complain about the length or head when you know they make shorter and lighter one ,customize your own every person has different likes ,,

i own a M1, 2 M4s and M79 head for the M1. the martinez takes some getting used to after using the majority of other hammers for so long. After getting used to it, i won't swing anything other than a martinez

Do u get/feel vibration?
@fixinthecoast2673 жыл бұрын
Yes, its an amazing hammer but there is still some vibration in the handle depending on the material youre beating on

I've been on the fence for a while now debating if this is worth the buy. I mostly been doing rough framing for years now so I'm thinking hey maybe it would be a good investment 🤷🏻♂️ But $300 dollars for a framing hammer?? Idk 🤔

Dude, trust me.... we've said the same thing for a long time. Personally, having both, I think you'd rather the M4

@@fixinthecoast267 hey mate, has the m4 become your go to hammer? Did you ever review the m4? Haven’t been able to find a good review of that one, especially how it compares to the m1. Cheers!
@fixinthecoast267 Жыл бұрын
@@Hatvelocity Absolutely! After having the M1 and M4, the M4 is by far superior in everyday use. The M1 feels a bit awkward in length once you swing a M4. I now use the M4 for framing/finish work 24/7 and ive thrown a M79 head on my M1 handle and now we only use it for Demo. Hope that helps!
