Can’t believe the difference in using my M1 hammer. It’s leagues beyond any hammer out there. I use a lot of 4” wire nails here in the U.K. and they don’t stand a chance. Awesome

I love both my M1 and the M4. Maybe it's time for a M79 as well 🤔😁

Absolutely in love with my M1, High rise framer , thing is a beast. Looks like one hot piece of tool as well. Looking to get the m79, I hit a lot of metal clamp heads and other heavy steels. I can’t make up my mind between the M1 handle or M4. I could see the M4 with the shorter handle would be more useful in tight spaces while still packing a heavy punch. Which do guys prefer usually ? M1 or M4 with m79 sledge head? Thank you! Keep up the great work

I went with the M4 handle with the M1 milled face. Like you said about tight spaces I have more control with the hammer and still have enough power to bash clamps in.

I’ve been running m1’s (have two) for a few years on a bridge construction crew (full time) and remodeling. Run 15oz and 12 oz heads. These hammers are indispensable. Do your hands and joints a favor and try one!

Can’t see spending as much for a hammer as a nail gun. I’m sticking with my 3 decade old curved claw Plumb 13. It doesn’t have replaceable parts but it’s never needed any. Now the only curved claw hammers are in the bargain bin at the bottom of the hammer wall. I don’t need my hammer to be an axe/prybar. I use expensive Granfors bars for that. They have no equal. How about making a curved claw head or a titanium pry bar.

May I ask what city you work in ? I’m a framer from Chicago, have not noticed a slow down yet.
