The final scene with the waves of clouds breaking on the mountains is quite possibly the best piece of timelapse footage I have seen anwwhere. Quite spectacular! Bravo!

Beautiful work again! I already know this place and I love it! This time I really liked the clip at 2:20 where the clouds are smashing against the cliff. Maybe because the music sounds a bit like an Interstellar soundtrack at this part :D

Very nice work but looks different then works not done on RED camera. I can tell the difference. Much prefer older work done on still cameras. Marty- try to slow down footage shot on RED camera this would help. But still missing slight blurred effect of stills which made older work unique . Nice work regardless. Michael M.

Timelapses are usually done through photo cameras assembling many photos like video frames, not through video cameras. But Sony doesn't do images more than 6000pixels. For 8K, you need 8192 pixels at least. I guess Nikon SLR or Canon SLR he is using which does 8000+ pixels photos

Not true, Sony A7RII max resolution is 7952 × 5304 pixels. BTW 8K typical resolution is 7680 × 4320.

Yes indeed I mainly shoot with the Sony A7RII. From most to less used: 2x Sony A7RII (8K UHD), RED EPIC-W (8K-DCI), Nikon D850 (8K-DCI), Sony A7s (4K-DCI) and Canon 6D (5,7K)

Im in the same field and my whole day and night goes in same work, like visiting places, stopping at each good scene, arranging gear for motion timelapse and then simply wait and read book lol. What do you do, while the camera is busy shooting ? I read books :D

That is not a particularly expensive setup either is it ? It does that in 8k ? Btw how are you able to get 100 mbps upload ?

Yes it does no problems at all. I was actually quite surprised because I weren't able to run 8k with my old setup with the i5-3570k and 8gb ram. Now with the ryzen 7 1700 16gb 3200mhz ram rx 480 and a 100/100mbit connection it runs smoothly. I'm from Denmark like you and I'm able to get a 100/100mbit connection from my ISP Kviknet.

I'm surpised even my i7-6800HQ + 960M on my laptop are hanling 8k pretty well with some lag but overall good experience :D (CPU at around 80-90% usage with all cores and threads active)
