Also, as I followed your first video today, I noticed that some flowers /scattered objects will just 'hover' above the ground (scatter base) or just stick weirdly into the air and.. I can't figure out how to fix that. Might be a good point to show, too! ♥

I remember first time using geo-scatter, i was getting carried away by the addon, i put every asset to my scene and switched to rendered view and after several instant crashes, it didn't take too much time for me to realize that the random numbers on the bottom says 6.941.538 vertices :)). Therefore addon needs to be used carefully as you mentioned. Thanks for the tutorial btw, simple and clear as always.

Hey Martin! First, thanks for super useful information! One question though, i´m scattering with weight paint as you showed, worked like a charm for some assets, but for others, it wont show up where I paint? I´m using "Random" as method and Density, no matter how high I have the density it wont help.. any ideas?

Hi, were you able to solve the problem? I have never encountered it, unfortunately, the culling masks always work for me. Make sure you have the correct one selected in the list?

I'm using the Biome Reader addon because the G Scatter addon doesn't work with my Blender version (4.0.2). Whenever I try to create a big environment by adding grass to a small plane and then using array modifiers to scale it up, Blender starts freezing. And if I try to create a big plane from the beginning and then use the addon, I keep getting errors and it doesn't work properly." And it gets Laggaging
