Free TAB, pay what you want: bit.ly/2YUndtA Trying something new here for a change. Please let me know if you want more of that and what else you want to see. Suggestions on how to improve this format are highly welcome! Stay safe ya'll! P.S.: Regarding Lick #2, the TAB is correct in regards to the original performance. My memory of it was slightly different so I play a variation on it in the lesson video. Both ways work great and are worth learning.

@@MrLeoMalmsteen Does it needs any music theory prerequisite before digging the Improvisation Masterclass ? I asked Martin on facebook but I guess he didn't see :)
@MrLeoMalmsteen4 жыл бұрын
@@mart8886 Umm. I think that you only need the very basics. The material is oriented primary to the fretboard visualization based on chord shapes, triads and 7th triads. Then Martin lead you to apply that to the Modes of the Mayor scale. So I think you'll need to understand what are the modes too, but you can "adjust" the learning process to your actual knowledge. Sorry for my English.

This was great!!! Mr. Miller you are a fantastic teacher. Please do more lessons like this. I love how you go over how each lick relates to the harmonies playing under it. I got a chance to meet Andy Timmons, and one of the things I told him was how amazing I thought your guys’ cover of Still Got the Blues was! Every person in the room that day made Gary Moore proud, and this wonderful lesson that you created for us from that day only adds to the magic. Thanks again and stay safe!

Great stuff Martin! I know people that think (and teach) in terms of notes, fretboard positions, and intervallic values, and the last one (which you use) makes so much more sense. Whether you're talking blues players or classical composers, it seems like the right info to have in your head.
