I remember my brother used to have this phone back in 2015-2016 but was only used for WiFi and I had a similar phone which was a Galaxy Note 3 those phones were great phones for their times now those phones are over 10 years old now crazy how time flies I was 22 when I first got my note 3 back in early 2016 from a friend of mine who had already upgraded his phone at the time really enjoyed that phone use to emulate retro games on it .

You can use custom rom to get much higher android versions. I recommend LineageOS, There is really probably an unoficial build for that phone for LineageOS with android 12 or even higher

I remember the Galaxy S5 was made veryy dirty with 6.0.1. Instead of porting back Grace UX (Note 7 UI) for the S5 with that update, they rolled out the Galaxy S6 5.1.1 UI. You just have to compare Note 7/S7 6.0.1 with this one

Ain’t NO way you brought Grace UX into this 😭☠️🙏 Dude, when this update came out on the S5 and S6, the S5 basically got TouchWiz 5.1 while the S6 got TouchWiz 6.0, same as the S7. Grace UX was NOT even a thing when this update came out for these 2

@ But you forget that Grace UX was between 6.0.1 (Note 7) and 7.0 (A Series, S6). So, Samsung could have ported that UI back to the S5 with 6.0.1. It was already a thing back in 2016

You can't do it anyway just try upgrading with orange fox recovery it can do with this or you can do it with it's owned bootloader

Unfortunately the bootloader is already on a higher version and there's no rollback support for newer devices
