FUN! Seeing you with a big grin reminds me of a professional orchestral percussionist I once knew. His day job was playing modern classical music - unbelievably difficult and complicated technical stuff on drums, marimbas, xylophones and glockenspiels. When he wasn't working he'd spend his time at a local jazz club, playing drums with a quartet. Totally different, and he could really let his hair down. Boulez or be-bop. Big jets or foamies. It's the same thing! :-)

That knife edge out through the door! XD I have just ordered one and a load of batteries for it!

I just ordered the crack yak 55 along with all the goodies. However I did get two 600mah batteries. I may try and swap those. Probably should of gotten all the same batteries 450mah. Hope I can build this thing.

mine hower better with a 600mah 2s than the suggested 450 2s. might be hotglue counterbalance issue :D

Loads a fun!. I may get another. I have had probably 4 ta 5.... lol. There servo package and esc motor combo are spot on. 2s is best, bigger prop, more floaty. 3s, ehh. With the bigger prop lol, but it will over heat..

Nice! How do you prevent te plane sticking to the table while using the CA?

Martin, I have a question for you if I may ask. I have an RC factory Extra and I can hover and do harriers pretty easily, I also have an EF Extra in 60inch and it is way harder for me to harrier and hover. Is it normal ? Foamies are way easier to fly ? Or it's only a matter of dialing the plane ?
@epoweredrc5 жыл бұрын
Yes Foamy are way way easier to fly. It just takes practice with your 60" plane. Keep trying, over and over till you get it. Every plane hovers different also. Easiest bigger plane i have ever flown was the Flex innovations Mamba 10 it does everything so well.

I've watched so many of your videos, and I have to know, how long have you been seriously flying 3D? Must be at least ten years. And I'm sure you have spent a fair amount of time on a simulator? Amazing flying skills. Thanks for all the videos and your time!

Best thing with the 6mm foamies is that you don't have to install a bazillion carbon rods.

@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC , Ya, mine fly super duper:) For new pilots i would say start with the Zoom. It's "a little slow" but can do it all, and you have a better chance to save it or correkt ;)
